I saw 3 Kelly cut being shown to a group of ladies with their husbands, and they purchased all 3 so I didnt even have a chance to view them...

None of the walk ins got to purchase any B or K... only 3 customers were shown those and a SA explained that those had been SO.

So i left at 11:10 and cab it to George V. No joy there as well.... so i decided to walk back to FSH.

11.45am back in FSH i saw a lady viewing the HG bag! she looked undecided... so i got hold of this SA and said, "hey, if she doesnt want it, can i take a look please?" he went over to his collegue who was attending to the lady and said something in french. He returned back to me and said " she is not sure, but you are next in line for that bag if she doesnt want it..." And then, the rest they said was history....

This is me second time lucky! First time was in March during the Men's fashion week, I got my first gold kelly! I was only there for a day trip yesterday as it is the Haute Couture Fashion week now and I know they usually bring in more bags for these special crowds, as I was told in March!

I left the store at 1300hrs and my SA told me very quietly, there's a delivery coming soon at 1330hrs. I thanked him but told me am very happy with what i purchased and left!

So there, I now have 2 classic bags! I can save myself from these tedious trips for a while now!

oh haha yes i remembered your pink fushia skirt cos i have the same one from zara right! yes i saw the 2 males being shown the kellys too... they didnt purchase it as i saw the same gold kelly being shown to another asian lady after that!

i was the one in a black/white striped dress! how long more you in Paris?

thanks kat99! u are my biggest motivator i have to say! and i was the anon in your blog comment who was asking about a 30 or 35 as we are of the same height! i will put on pictures soon i promise! :D

I think alot of times it depends on the SA! This is my second time in FSH, both times I didn't stick to the first SA that served me! The first ones that attended to me were pretty straight forward and would just say NO without even bother to check the computer! For some reason its always lucky number 3!

Keep trying ladies, they do bring in more bags to cater to the fashion week crowd! I was also told yesterday that the last time they received a delivery was last tues 28 Jun! And when i left yesterday at 1300hrs, I was told some deliveries were on their way!

Oh oh! They didn't purchase the kellys? I should have insist to stay. DH was so eager to go and he said the SA seems to be packing the kellys so we left. You are so right about SA, I have been told straight no by two SAs without their checking on computer or anything. I'm leaving Paris on Friday noon. Would last day be the lucky day? I hope. I wonder what really does it take to bump into a helpful SA with the right timing of delivery..... Sigh!

Hi,
Does anyone know what is the limit on the birkin/Kelly that each person can buy in paris? I have the long wish list for birkin/Kelly, and I intend to score some in Paris some.
Also, if u are able to score a birkin in fsh, are u still able to buy another birkin in george or other Hermes stores in Paris? Or does the vat refund control that? Thnks a million

I was told 1 kelly per person, if you are getting more, you may put it under someone else's name but they must be present to pay for the bag using their own credit card/or cash and their passport for VAT refund. However the SA may refuse this option. I wasn't after a birkin, so I don't know whether this applies to Birkin, but I'd assume it'd be the same.

I don't know the answer to the second question, but I'd assume that other store should be able to see that you've already score a bag from FSH under your name/passport number.

But given how low the stock levels are at the moment, you'd be VERy VERY very very very lucky if you can score more than 1 k/b!!

kat99, i tried the sample birkins both 30 & 35 at FSH and 2 SA convinced me to get a 35 instead depsite my height & built! I havent regret it! anyway, i have a 32 kelly for day to evening use. 35 is great for casual wear and travelling! thanks and i love your blog too!

Sorry been too busy today at work to come back to this thread. Was trying to make back the money I spent in FSH! haa! H is indeed also one of my biggest motivator at work! My SA is Candy Boiteux, her name's been mentioned in TPF before! How's today in FSH?
