Really aggravated with Online. I ordered custom Weitzman sandals from their special order boutique. Ten weeks later I get an email they're delayed. Meanwhile they keep charging and crediting my card repeatedly. Then I get email asking me to approve an extension for 30 days or they have to cancel by FTC rules. Fine, I extend. They then send me email daily for a week saying it's delayed for another two weeks. Then they cancel it totally.

I called and they told me they could place another order. I asked whether that meant waiting another 6-10 weeks...I mean, it's special order, how could they order otherwise. No, no, it'll be ready in June.

BS. I said forget it and now I won't order from their BB Boutique because it's too expensive of a risk if I get charged and no delivery.
 
I bought the Tory Burch Amanda backpack and it arrived today without a dustbag. Ugh. Since calling customer service didn't work for me, I tried to do their live chat option. 15 mins later, still waiting. I just can't believe the lack of customer service for such a high end dept store. SMH.
 
When you ring their exec offices do they have a customer care team there? Who do you ask for/complain to specifically to have your issue resolved? I have had nothing but headaches dealing with failed chargesends from their shoe depts. in their CA stores. They would run my card (and it would post to my cc) but never send me a receipt or even send the product!! DONE WITH NM.


I called the Bloomingdales store in NY and asked for the executive office. I think I got an assistant, but she put me in the voicemail for the executive in charge of online orders. You could try doing the same with NM. I think they are based in Dallas.

Just to follow up. I tried emailing them as a last resort regarding my missing dustbag. I got a reply later the same day apologizing for the inconvenience. Email also stated that a replacement is being sent to me. Also got a confirmation email regarding the order of the replacement. So there you have it...email works, at least in my case.

There was a clover canyon skirt I've been dying for, so I think it was last weekend they had a $50 off $200 code, plus duty free to Canada.. Well every time I went to put it into my basket, it would say it doesn't ship to Canada. The ONLY clover canyon piece that was doing this. Because the 50 off 200 code was expiring soon, I was frantically emailing/calling/online chatting trying to find out why.. Well I NEVER got a response. No one answered me on the online chat, no one emailed me back, and the couple SAs I spoke to on the phone never got back to me. So f*cking chapped!!
 
its best to complain on social media ESPECIALLY using facebook. facebook is so public that they will be too embarrassed and will have to deal with the situation . I think people need to embarrass them publicly in order to take any of their complaints seriously.

I am thinking about returning a pair of unused espadrilles to NM (not my size) but I had already paid it off on my NM CC (BC I never got around to returning it....) can I ask for the credit to be mailed to me? or its stuck there on my NM CC as a credit? tyi

I think in those cases it's usually just a credit...
 
Ahhh so the credit on the NM store card can't be cashed out? NM store card isn't even a regular credit card that can be used elsewhere right? Haha....


I would still maybe call and ask - you never know? But I think this might have happened to me - but in my case it wasn't a large figure (overpaid by a few dollars) and it just showed up as credit.

They will mail you a check, but you have to request it in my experience. I've had that happen before as well where I paid an item off but ended up returning it, but I had to call customer service and request the check otherwise it just sits on your card as credit.
