Thanks. So most people order on April receive their gift card on first week of June. Do i expect to receive mine first week of July

does anyone know what happens if I return the item I bought with my promotional GCs? (just received two $125 cards from the last event.) do I then forfeit my GCs, or do they just credit them back?

If you return the item,you should get the gift card amount as part of the return for the full purchase. It will show on the recept
the gift cards being used & then the item being returned for the full amount...

Have found that NM also deducts "points" for the gift cards when used for a return.

Wow, reading all of this makes one not want to shop at Neiman Marcus events. I did pull the trigger though and am hopeful I get the correct amount of gift card, otherwise I would have just ordered it directly from the brand or another department store.

I am hoping to use the gift card to reduce the price on another item on my wishlist...which I hope is still for sale by the time I get my gift card, having read everyone's comments!

Less and less brands qualify for the gift card event :( over the years gucci, balenciaga, Tom Ford and Chloe have fallen off the eligible list :( Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, proenza Schouler, Roger Vivier, Alexander Wang, and Loewe are eligible!

first time doing this event. anyone knows if cosmetics is included? i want to my some la mer things and on the la mer item pages it says that the products are eligible for double promo. reading all the horror stories i am somewhat hesitant ...

Every single brand you've written has the "EARN A GIFT CARD" under the item name and price on Neiman Marcus' website. It's a bit ridiculous, really. After checking the promotion details, which state, " Select designers excluded. Qualifying items will be marked on the site with an indication in colored type. For further assistance, please call 1.888- 888-4757," I added the item to my card and then input the promotion code DOUBLE.

After I did that, my shopping bag read "Promotion Applied" over the Shipping and Taxes area.
Above the item name was the phrase "Promotions Applied: DOUBLE" and then below, in the Item Summary, it stated "Qualifies for 'DOUBLE'."

Having written all of this, the promotion code they said I had applied when I received my e-mail receipt is different! I will call them today just to confirm why they changed the code in the e-mail receipt. I printed the receipt page after my order was placed and that page reads "Qualifies for DOUBLE."

To be honest, I've been playing around with the code and my cart and Saint Laurent and Longchamp are eligible, as is Tory Burch if I put Qty as 2 in my cart for a pair of flats. It makes no sense. Best to call them, as I will be doing after work today, haha!

Sooooooooo hard to predict. I think it should be OK. So long as you buy a regularly priced handbag or pair of shoes AND regularly priced women's or men's apparel.

I'm thinking about buying beauty too. What you could do is wait til you get the gift card before using your purchase. Sometimes you get an email confirmation w the amount (which sadly feels like a lottery). You can call them constantly too :)

I'd like to find out too, if the items you purchased with a gift card promotion are returned after the gift cards are received. Do you ask for the gift cards to be returned together with the items bought?

Neiman Marcus did not double my gift card... They are in big, big trouble. I just wrote an email to them and if the reply isn't an apology alongside another $300 gift card, I am DONE. I took screencaps of the qualifying items when I purchased them, just like the gift card event vets advised. Pathetic that we can't trust a company to do what's right the first time.

Over a year later, this problem still exists, same thing happened to me, didn't double my gift card, have waited many days for their marketing department to respond...

Have you tried calling InCircle? I had the same issue & got on the phone & it was resolved..
NM is really very behind with these gift cards, double/triple point events, etc..
