You're going to have to complain either via e-mail or phone. I'd suggest e-mail as you have proof you contacted them whereas with phone you'll need to write down the dates and who you spoke with.

Keep complaining until they give you your gift card. I had to speak on the phone 2 times and e-mail 3 different times before I finally got the gift card. The most annoying part was that instead of apologizing, they just made it seem like it was my fault - "we checked on the gift card we sent you, it hasn't been redeemed yet so here's the number."

It took over a month to finally get it and then they didn't even bother to extend the expiration date a month or offer any kind of discount as an apology.

Totally agree! Took me 3 chats and 2 phone calls to chase down my gc! They said the samething to me "it was emailed", "you haven't redeemed" all bullsh*t! I receive their promo email daily and the only one I can't seem to receive is the email contains gc!!! Very bad services don't want to deal with them again!

I still haven't received my April gift card! I have chatted multiple times and they keep changing the date that it will be emailed. The last I got was june 18th. When I didn't receive the card then I contacted them again and they said they were contacting corporate and would get back to me. I told them I absolutely wanted to be contacted by someone in corporate/customer service but I haven't heard from anyone.
I am pushing this because when I haven't, I've never received my gift card.

I really think that Neiman Marcus has crossed the line from annoying to unethical.

I agree with you. After they pulled that crap with me, I wrote a letter letting them know I was very disappointed with the service and that it's pretty crummy if that's how they do business. They never even bothered to reply to that.

It is very sketchy that they obviously try to avoid upholding their end of the bargain. Now whenever I shop with them, I screenshot the promo and screenshot the item page that says it's participating in the promo (could see them pulling the "it wasn't part of the promo!" thing).

It'd be interesting to know how much money they're making doing this. I'd bet the majority of people forget about their gift card. Plus, they goad you into buying even more to meet the limits of the GC.

If they ever do this to me again, I'll be reporting it to the BBB.

Sorry you have to go through the hassle. Keep bothering them every 2-3 days until they do something about it.

Hi, i am desperately trying to find an amazing dress for my birthday. Could someone put me in touch with a sales assistant at Saks New York and Neiman Marcus that can help me with Evening Wear. Someone that will help me do searches when i don't know the skue of the item i am looking for. Thanks in advanced.

I can't help you with the SA hunt, but if you find any dresses you like online - NM post codes online that you can use for in-store inquiries, while Saks sometimes shows you the availability of items in-store. Also, in my experience, you can speak with any SA about something you've seen online, and they'll do their best to find it, without you needing to provide a SKU number. GL!

I still haven't received my gift card or been contacted back by customer service. I asked for someone to get back to me 10 days ago and have checked back twice. they just keep telling me they have " put a request in."
