Need help with my new luxury flap...

Hi ladies,

I just recently purchased a luxury flap bag in black. I believe it's the calf skin because it's got a sheen to it and less metallic looking. This is my first and only Chanel piece. I'd like to know if I need to take some extra steps to protect the leather, eventhough the leather itself feels tough and doesn't look high maintenance. I saw some posts regarding the AG spray from the Bbags forum and was wondering if that'd work on Chanel too. Any comments is appreciated.

hi, i have the luxury flap. i haven't taken any protective measures. my bag is the matte black. i just make sure i'm careful when i carry it and store it carefully in it's duster and box.

i wouldn't spray anything on it unless chanel does it when the bag is serviced.
