You may laugh, I just walked around the house with it putting it up against various yellow and green things to answer you (and none of my iPhone photos show much of a different or I'd share)!I definitely think it's a yellow that leans green. It's what my mom would call "grellow"-- one of both of our favorite colors, kind of greeny yellow, like chartreuse. I put it against our sunny yellow tea kettle, and it's definitely way more green. And then I put it into our yellow-green chair, and it's the same color. So it reads kind of like a yellow, but it totally has green in there. But I wouldn't call it green.
Here's another way to judge it: I was previously debating if I wanted to buy some yellow shoes to match, and every yellow I've seen I've thought, "Nope, too yellow". Oh and another judge! I've been wanting a yellow purse, and I still do. Does that help?
I love it but sadly haven't carried it yet since I work from home, but it's going out tonight for V-day! Carrying it while wearing a bright red dress and shoes. Did I mention I love color?

I appreciate that. It sounds like what I have in my head. I think chartreuse is the best description I've heard. Maybe I'll run into an acid green something on my mission tonight and really see it in person but you gave me some great examples. Thanks! I love color too and I love yellow with a hint of green. They were my room colors when I was a little girl come to think of it. It sounds gorgeous. I'm sensing another wishlist item...
That's okay. I ordered my Minetta in the love red pintuck and I hope she's as pretty as she looks.
