Nancy Gonzalez are always real exotic skins, not stamped leather. The price range is about right for high quality exotics. I don't have one, but know someone who does, and while croc and python skins are delicate by nature, these bags do hold up very well and should last you a lifetime if you take care of them correctly. Just be sure to check out how NG states you should care for it, and follow that strictly. Enjoy! I'm jealous!
i have a crocodile bag, by Rinkel. They are more moderatley priced, and my bag is really gorgeous. I've only used it a few times, I'm sort of afraid to with the rainy weather we've been having. I've heard the only thing with exotics is DO NOT get them wet. so you just have to be careful.
Nancy Gonzalez is a great choice for an exotic, also check out Rinkel, if you want to save a bit, or Michael Kors has some gorgeous exotics, with interiors lined in metallic leather. or Adriana Castro.

I would also suggest you check out Lionlaw's gorgeous collection of exotics (she's a wonderful PF with amazing taste in exotics, and a great deal of knowledge about them). I personally am in love with the Jane August bag that she just bought. Check it out! Other faves for exotics are Adriana Castro (I like the colors she uses) and Nancy Gonzalez.

I love her totes and clutches...will have to save up for a long time to afford the one I want though!
I have just fallen in love with Nancy Gonzalez. I just got my first NG for my birthday and I have a feeling it won't be my last. It is very similar to the python/croc bag that was featured on the Purseblog a month or so ago. Instead of it being python/croc, it is all croc. I absolutely love it. I want the purple clutch with grommets next. Below is the photo. It appears black in the photo but it is grey.
Mine was the reason I joined here. I bought it with some other items at a price that was so low, I was sure it was a fake (or stolen). Well, I knew it wasn't stolen, but it took some time here before I found someone who could authenticate it for me.
