I just found out that Nancy Gonzalez will be making appearances at Neiman Marcus stores with her son Santiago. I live in SoCal and my Neiman Marcus Topanga has her scheduled for March 13th and will be signing handbags and be bringing with her a consignment trunk of one of a kind handbags different for each store.

It will be nice to have a pick of new bags that aren't the same ones as usual! Im excited!:nogood:

OK, Nancy Gonzales purses are so beautiful they could make a girl go crazy. Each one is more beautiful than the next. I have had more fun collecting these beauties! Nathan Bell at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Troy, Michigan is the go to guy for Gonzales and any other coveted purses. He is a blast to work with and always clues me in to the best sales and deals. His great personality and excellent follow-through make him a dream to work with. I am a devotee!!!

For those who love Nancy Gonzalez bags...I just bought one from ebay...LuxePurses. She even allowed me to do a 90 lay-a-way...that's practically unheard of....

very nice packaging on her purses.

For my birthday(which is not for a couple of mos), I really want to purchase an exotic bag. I've found a few that I like but I saw this Nancy Gonzalez python croc grommet bag in person in BG last week and fell in love. (Sorry, for some reason the photo isn't coming up. Pls click on the link)You can't see the croc in the photo but its croc on the sides (same color as the python). What do you think? I love how its classic yet as a bit of an edge with the grommets.

For those with Nancy Gonzalez bags or bags with similar skins, how does this bag hold up? Is it durable?

At $3K this is better hold for a veeeeeeeery long time
I am assuming it is real python, or leather stamped with python and croc?
If it is the latter, this is really overpriced IMO
If it is real python then it is still overpriced, but not as much
Really, I think you are paying mostly for the name here

Wow! :nuts: That is a drop dead gorgeous bag! Wish I could see the sides.

I don't have a ton of experience, since I only own one Nancy Gonzalez. Mine is just a simple black crocodile bag. I've only had it about a year, and I only use it occasionally. I think the quality is very high, and would definitely buy another bag.

I really like the workmanship & details that are put in Nancy Gonzalez's bags - - I don't own one - - but I've seen one that I would love to adopt & bring home - - yep, they are investment pieces - - just like Chanel - - but they are beautiful!
