Name that Mulberry Font!!!

Do we have any graphic artists amongst us please?


For ages Ive wanted to know the name of the Mulberry font - the original one (probably designed by Roger Saul).

Its the one used on old leather labels with the "Y" having a curling tail?


Any ideas?

Oh tough question Ellie, I know that agency Four IV overhauled the logo to what it is now.

Hmmm will get back to you on that, have a few books I can browse through.

Ive tried Google and tried a few of those "Fonts for sale" sites where you answer questions re the font you are seeking.

I ended up with one called Opal - but I think I must have mis-answered some of the questions.

Not that Im obsessed with Mulberry you understand.......

No problem, it's not coming up in my usual database searches but do you have a photo of it? I can upload it to a programme that will find either the exact or closest match to it.
