From Black Friday I purchased a mauve small Sutton, basic black Crosby go, the dawn stars mini Sutton with intention to pick one to return and still keep the gift phone crossbody in liquid black (I have a Crosby Go in liquid dawn that I both love and am afraid to use).
Per usual, struggling to decide what to return. The stars are shiny 🤩 which doesn’t come across on the website. They really need better/more/any info about prints and finishes which is actually what people are collecting w/ multiples of any style.
I don’t really like the phone pouch crossbody. No short handle strap, it really is sized for a phone or two and maybe a lipgloss, and the little closer uses Velcro. At the price point of $65 or free w/ min purchase I think it makes enough sense. The Christmas surprise red leather phone pouch would be the higher tier.
Anyways, I just want to own all three bags, whether I use them or not! 🤦♀️ Mauve is lovely.
I had grabbed the anthracite city backpack to use as an occasional bag for my art stuff. My poor mini metro in it sits, but I have started grabbing this backpack. It is so light weight and easy to use. To think I almost put it up for sale without even trying it, just because NWT bags go faster. So glad I gave it a whirl, now it stays.
I want to see more in real life pictures before I decide. So far I like the color.
I lean towards ditsy floral prints since adolescence, but more or less stopped wearing them ten years ago. I think the muted floral overall has its charm. Because of my attraction to the print I noticed that little Astor crossbody. Adorable. But still don’t see myself carrying it.
My son’s girlfriend went to the store to look at it for me. She loved it but the only micro Sutton they had left was the floor model with a slight issue, so I told her to pass on it for me. She said the print was lovely and not to cutesy.
Little gripe. Return policy says for holiday purchases returns are “through January 20, 2025” which by the definition of the word “through” means Jan 20 is still a day returns are accepted. Right? Except the return window closed Jan 20, and customer service response is that it closed on Jan 20 sorry.
Sure it’s a relatively large return window and I don’t mind having these bags but I take issue with this incompetence. “Through” is different from “before”. “Until” I would read as confusing and if I were writing that policy wouldn’t use. Ugh. What’s the point of using words if you’re going to use the wrong ones.

I have started buying off posh because then I can see exactly what I am getting. I still buy from Mz direct but not as often. The customer service is not what it used to be.
I just ordered a rose gold camera bag for spring as my knock about bag. I used the quartz metro crossbody last year, but I think I might like the east west configuration better. I also like that it has a removeable strap so I can switch out with some of my spare chain straps.

I totally agree the CS has gone from bad to worse. Here's my personal experience:
During the recent sale I bought a bag with black hardware. After using for 2x within a month of receiving, the bag's leather loop (that holds the strap) got marks from the hardware. Upon closer inspection the hardware has "peeled" on the underneath side. They declined return for refund.
On a similar note 1 or 2 years ago my sale bag again shows hardware issues very soon after receiving the bag. They were able to let me return for refund.
