I am happy with the all black color of the Madison Satchel. The hardware looks high quality. It’s nice how low key of a bag it is, yet elegant. I love the top handles, the shape, and the outside pockets. The nylon material is of nice quality and light in weight as well. The black version has a lovely bright royal blue interior too. Last but not least, the advantage of the inside pockets are a plus as well. Imho it beats the LV Speedy 25.

My handbag collection has been missing a LV Speedy or Speedy like piece. I have not purchased a LV Speedy before because I was hesitant about the lack of outside pockets, the cheap hardware, and the vachetta leather in some cases. I have always liked the top handles of the Speedy though.

Glad u like it :) the royal blue interior is very nice. I've always like the combination of black exterior with blue interior colour :)

I still have a speedy and almost never use it. I sold my 25 in azur and now only have a 30 in Damier because the dark brown handles don't change color. I do keep a veracord organizer in it. I rarely use it because it does not have a crossbody strap. I am so glad you like your satchel. I love the blue interiors.

Oh boy… I haven’t ordered it yet lol. I got my birthday code (I put in alternate bday months w/ vendors so no bday wishes required :lol:), and realized the $50 off $250 is basically similar to gift of a pouch/accessory with purchase due to how their products are priced. Usually gifts with purchase don’t compel me, but choice of something is more interesting.

Anyways, my choices got more complicated. Plus, since long weekend travel I’ve been using the mini metro tote deluxe and have felt good with the neon and flexibility of extra space.

Micro metro still on the list for sure, just not as urgently. Definitely will post once that happens!!

Indeed the satchel has filled a void my handbag collection. I like how MZW has changed my perception of comfort in terms of bags through nylon material, zippers and pockets. I do think the LV Speedy is a piece of history, and it’s nice to have one in the Damier Ebene print.

I was venturing the MZW site yesterday and came across a Raffia bag in the small size… this particular item had been sold out for a few days already. I instantaneously got FOMO, and bought it to see if I like it. This bag looks interesting. Does anyone have thoughts about the new MZW Raffia bags?

Which color did u get? I like it :) I wish it has extra long strap for shoulder or crossbody. I need my bags to be shoulder bag lol

Has anyone seen the Crosby Luna IRL yet? I like the looks of it dimension wise it’s bigger than what I normally carry the micro Sutton when you look at the dimensions. But is it really that big? The reviews seem to echo what it’s small space wise. I was hoping my nordies might have one I could see in person since it was listed on the website but no such luck. I’m hesitant to buy one without seeing it IRL.

I once saw the Luna bag in black modeled on a video by “Emma’s Shoes & Accessories” on Facebook, and I loved how it molds around your waist in a subtle and elegant way. I would call them directly and ask what their thoughts are.
