wow...glad it worked out for you but I hope Tiffany starts requiring signature for all items shipped as this seems like an easy way for scammers to make off with alot of merchandise. we see it done on eBay all the time so I'm shocked that Tiffany is not more careful with their delivery requirements

Do not feel bad about the employee at all! Yes, it stinks she'll be spoken to, but honestly, she didn't know how to handle the situation, so they need to teach her, it's not that big a deal.

I'm so happy it got resolved quickly!

Also I am not sure if you have heard of UPS Choice its something you can sign up for and it actually lets you choose the time your package will be delivered or you can select to pick it up before it gets on the truck. It also will text and email you a day in advance of any packages and it also will text/email you immediately after a package has been delivered. I really doubt the UPS guy stole it because the packages really dont say Tiffany. I don't think someones pension is worth a package that didnt have signature required. I do know the trucks are packed by temps and maybe that was who did it. The drivers dont load their trucks. I am sure UPS will get to the bottom of it. I hope no one opened it on your porch. Last year at chrismtas there was a truck following our UPS guy and watching where he was dropping packages. When he came to my door he asked me to look over his shoulder and see if the truck was there I told him yes, he asked me to walk out when he pulled away and get the tag number. I did and I called it in. Thieves do this every year at Christmas, they follow trucks.
Again I am happy Tiffany resolved their end for you.

Thought the same thing. Easy peasy scam, just punch a hole in the box and say UPS never rang the doorbell. Seen it done on eBay a 1000 times.

So happy for you! Good it all ended well and this is how it should be handled as you had nithing to do with it.
Can't wait to see the pics once it arrives!!!!
