I don't know you but I am so frustrated and upset for you:( My bracelet from T&Co. Was delivered but my driver had enough sense to ring the doorbell! In the end I hope you get this rectified and get to enjoy your bean necklace ASAP.

honestly - this email needs to be broken into two separate issues & sent to the appropriate people. It's long, long winded & convoluted & in this particular case, you're better off being clear concise & factual until you get this sorted - and then deal with cs on the conduct of the various people you have encountered.

If it were me - i would be on the phone until a resolution was reached - emails can be ignored/put off - especially long ones.

I also wouldn't be patient waiting for t&c for a response - call ups & your cc. T&c already has your $ - they have no reason to act urgently.

I think I read about this happening last year around the holidays with Chanel and FedEx. I would think that Tiffany should take up the issue with UPS. Tiffany should make you whole via refund or replacement then file with their carrier. Keep pushing Tiffany !!!! Also dispute it on your credit card and tell Tiffany this is what you ate planning.

Also, in regards to the confusion of USPS and UPS, sometimes now with ground shipping the package actually gets dropped off from UPS to the post office and then the post office delivers. Could that have been the case? And I totally agree with you on the customer service at the boca tiffany&co, I've never had a great experience there

OMG it is so horrible! Contact UPS and your credit card to file a claim first, I don't think you could rely on T&Co, they have no motivation to re-act fast. I agree that such value item should be delivered with required signature ONLY.

It looks like an extacto knife cut...it's pretty clean for it to be a sorting machine or any other type of accidental damage. It definitely looks deliberate...I'm wondering if maybe the whole reason it was left on the step without so much as ringing a door bell was because the driver knew he/she was guilty? I thought they generally attempted to ring a doorbell first before dropping a package off. Our UPS guy when I used to live in a house would ring the doorbell first and if no answer would leave it in our porch. Now that I'm in a condo front desk takes care of everything so I don't know how that works yet since I have slowed down my online shopping since moving to the city.

Yup - thats what I said. knife cut or something deliberate!

There was no signature. According to the tracking number, the "proof of delivery" was the driver leaving it on the "FRONT PORCH". :amazed::search:

this happens to me all TOO often. and I live in a walkup in manhattan and they leave it on the doorstep...ARE you kidding?!?! I rarely ever see those packages and it's a nightmare calling the companies and getting them to believe me. IT's F_ed up. I'm so sorry this happened to you. side note..I'm from boca raton and don't like the SA's at T&co. so much nicer in nyc.

That's very sad. I hope you get your merchandise. In the meantime dispute that charge. I wonder if fingerprints are on the box or if that could be detected?? You never know.

My UPS guy usually just drops off packages in my backyard because he usually drives his truck through the valley behind our house. Once I was looking for my parcel for a whole week and thought I lost it until it reappeared after the snow melted. :sweatdrop: UPS don't always do a good job delivering. I am sorry for your loss.

I ordered something from Ross-Simons and the tracking says UPS has dropped the package off to the local USPS post office for final delivery. A notation on the UPS website says the sender elected this method.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's really terrible. I think that this is a problem for T&co and UPS. I don't know who causee this situation, but either T&co didn't notify this to be delivered properly (with a signature at the delivery) or UPS broke the rules and didn't deliver it properly. You're not the one whose fault is this and in my opinion after your complaint T&co should send you another necklace and clear this up with the UPS. If they don't offer to do that you should contact your credit card company immediatly. This mess is not your fault and you are not they one who should pay for it.
I hope it all ends well for you and you soon receive your bean. Keeping my fingers crossed! Please let us know how it goes.
