My Speedy is driving me crazy lately...

Erm, yea it was pretty expensive actually. ush: They charged me USD$29.90 for under 4pounds. I ordered 3 bottles of AG and 3 bottles of Leather conditioner because 我怕死. Was well worth the wait!

I have NO worries abt my vachetta and have tried bringing it out when it drizzles when I have to run to my car and ta-dah~!! It dries without leaving a spot!

You know, I shouldn't laugh. I would have done the SAME THING! :shame:

Guess I need to buy a cute little chiffon cover-up now I have thin cotton cardigan sweaters I always wear, but I feel like I'm gonna sweat to death. I could always try the glove and hand cloths ideas too. Thank you for your ideas! (Did you always carry an umbrella and plastic bag inside your LV too? I find that's like a necessity to protect an LV here )

And come back to visit Asia soon. If you come to Taiwan, we can always go to LV together. I know of some nice SAs

Yes, I carried umbrellas and plastic in the rainy season! I suppose you have the same horrible humidity we do. I have some chiffon button up tops from Marks and Spencer in HK, not so sweaty! I just wore them over t-shirts when outside. The cloth thing really works, small and discreet, about the size of ones hand. I hope to go to Taiwan soon, hubby goes to Singapore for work and we wanted to check out Taiwan for a place to live in the future.

...and not in a good way. It's really hot and humid here now, and I get all paranoid when carrying my Speedy because my skin is of course going to be a bit sweaty. I've never used any kind of leather protectant on the handles and I'm wondering if I should start doing that now? I've had my Speedy for a while now and it has a fair bit of patina on the handles. I live in Taiwan so I can't find any of the Applegard or Shining Monkey stuff here. Any suggestions? I might just buy a cheap scarf and tie it onto the handles for when i carry it.

try putting a nice scarf on the handles until the weather gets cooler. I know how you feel, I worry about the handles on my arms too. Even with the shoulder bags when you are sleevless, I hate to get the handles dirty with body lotion or something.

I'll be on the lookout for the cloths, it does sound helpful. Originally I had a visual of some lady carrying her Speedy with a handkerchief And if you come to Taiwan, let me know, maybe we can organize some kind of PF lunch and trip to LV

I wish lotion was my only worry with the vachetta... here it's so humid that I don't even need lotion.

And yep, if I ever got an LV shoulder bag, I'd probably be freaking out about that too Guess any leather bags here that have vachetta just don't fare well...
