Wow! How much was the total cost? I'd be interested in doing that, but I assumed it would be too expensive...? Does the AG make the vachetta completely waterproof?

Erm, yea it was pretty expensive actually. :push: They charged me USD$29.90 for under 4pounds. I ordered 3 bottles of AG and 3 bottles of Leather conditioner because 我怕死:p. Was well worth the wait!

I have NO worries abt my vachetta and have tried bringing it out when it drizzles when I have to run to my car and ta-dah~!! It dries without leaving a spot! :yahoo:

Mmmm, good food... I'm just about to head out to grab some 紅豆湯 or 豆花... whichever seems more appealing in this 30C+ weather [/quote]
gee...now i want to have some 豆花 or shaved ice :graucho: although its freezing here in NZ right now :p
Last year i was in Taiwan for a week in July and i brought my mono trouville with me....i totally forgot how hot it is in Taiwan...and i totally ruined the handles on my Trouville  its so dirty looking now....i am ashamed of myself ..... for not taking care of my Louie :push:

That's exactly what I'm afraid of :( The handles are already starting to look a little dirty...

When I went to Taiwan in the past, it was always rainy and cold. I am always amazed at how many motocycles there are there. You see rows of them and think it's a store selling motorcycles but no, people park them there to go to work. LOL.

I have only used Shining Monkey so far but I hold my Speey 2 ways....on the hand and on the crook of my arm. If my hand is wet or sweaty, on the crook of my arm it goes.

In this weather... EVERYTHING sweats... sweat comes out of places I never even knew could sweat (like my ears... ewww). It doesn't matter if I hold it on my arm or in my hand... everything gets the handles sweaty

It's so sad. The weather is driving me so crazy lately, it is making me contemplate selling my beloved Speedy. Most of the time I'm so afraid of screwing up the handles, I just let it sit in my closet in its dustbag!! Why can't I find anything like Appleguard in Taiwan?!!!!

Hey, Little Panda, can you do what they do in Japan, wear white cotton gloves? The older women do it also to protect their skin from tanning. I ALWAYS wore long sleeves (chiffon or cotton cover-up), in the summer and carried my alma on my arm to avoid sweaty sticky hands. Another thing popular in Japan is little cloths for wiping hands and you can carry your bag with them. They even make the little cloths in designer! I had Burberry and Versace.:p I miss Asia!

Guess I need to buy a cute little chiffon cover-up now :amuse: I have thin cotton cardigan sweaters I always wear, but I feel like I'm gonna sweat to death. I could always try the glove and hand cloths ideas too. Thank you for your ideas! (Did you always carry an umbrella and plastic bag inside your LV too? I find that's like a necessity to protect an LV here  )

And come back to visit Asia soon. If you come to Taiwan, we can always go to LV together. I know of some nice SAs :amuse:
