That is so very sad. We will all keep a look out.Dear lovely members,
I hope I can find some support and help. My recent SO Kelly ostrich 20 in PHW was stolen from my home. The person who did it(I suspect someone I thought I could trust) or people (perhaps the security insider person) knew exactly the cost of the bag as there were other bags and knew that the mini Kelly is easier to conceal from the cameras.
I think this happened between last Sunday and this Sunday. I don’t have a date as the person or people knew I was working really busy and brutal hospital shifts. I am really really sad especially as in the UK I have not been able to reach the police (non emergency) this whole day and instead am doing it online. It doesn’t seem like there is much help and it feels rather horrible. If anyone could help me in terms of letting me know where my bag might be posted or if you see her online, please please contact me. Any support is much needed at this time.
At the end of the day, I hugged my cat and loved ones. I know it is material possession and this bag for me with a symbol of a lot of psychologically achievements.

Sadly, even the most protected places are not secure enough anymoreSo sorry this happened to you! It's a beauty! The person who stole this really knew its value. OMG. The world is scary.
No. Just this wAs taken as there are so many cameras outside that I suspect if someone comes out carrying a bigger bag it will probably show. In the living room I have my b35 black and my SO K28 chevre black. Someone knew the value. Was this part of a larger scale burglary?
If you believe the thief was aware of its value, then it is not unreasonable to assume that the thief would also be aware of the unique quill pattern of ostrich, that being bi-colour is distinctive, as is the horseshoe stamp. Unless it was stolen to order, it would be very difficult to sell easily through normal channels.
Thank you so much. This an amazing community and I hope with others being aware and checking, we will find some leads. That is so very sad. We will all keep a look out.
It is truly horrible. And I have insane security at my place. It feels horrible and I did so may things to protect it. I barely went out. I think even with the ‘security’ there are always chances. I did so many things to keep stuff safe. I hope you are well and sorry this has happened.I’m so sorry for what happened to you. I also had an SO stolen, my very first, was so loved. I have yet to recover any of my bags or things sadly, over 1.5 years later. I lost H bags and rtw. I filed a police report, filed an insurance claim, and got most of the value of it back. But it’s the violation and fear of loss again. That’s hard to recover. I do check various reselling sites and local pawn shops, but honestly the thieves have to register anything that is sold, so it ends up in a different market, then to an unsuspecting buyer. It has taken a while to move on, but I am sometimes still scared to carry nice things out in public now. Sometimes I feel okay and enjoy carrying a nice bag. Other times, I look homeless and am very fearful. It’s awful. I hope with time, you find peace and joy in your success in life. You will find other things to replace. You will find it safe again.
How does that work? I have a lot of security.I think it was stolen to order and will not appear on any resale outlet.
I don't think its (intrinsic) value has the importance you attribute to it.
