For those of you who've never treated your leather I'd like to know what you do when it rains? Aren't you afraid of waterspots?

I've never treated mine but I'm not afraid to take them out in the rain. My mom took her black Multicolore Speedy in the rain a couple months ago and all the vachetta got absolutely drenched. Then later that day, it just dried out and returned to the color it was before it had even gotten wet. The only time I got anything on one of my bags like that was when I accidentally put my white Multicolore Alma on a wet nap (with alcohol in it) in the bathroom at my school, not realizing it was a wet nap and not say, a paper towel, and it left a weird mark like a 90 degree angle on the bottom.
But even if I open a soda can and some of the soda splatters up on the vachetta, it dries right out :)

Thanks everyone.

The wallet is listed as Porte-Monnaie Billets Viennois on eluxury...I think I've heard others just call it a French purse (this is a general term for the style I think?)

I feel a little guilty buying both and feel like I should return the wallet but I doubt I will...it's big enough to kinda use as a clutch almost so it could serve that purpose for a wedding or something. I just have to behave myself with the shopping for a little while now!

I LOVE the Vernis agendas too but I don't use an agenda so I got the wallet instead. The Lexington will have its maiden voyage tomorrow :)

I am always paranoid about the vachetta getting wet and try not to carry it if there's a decent chance of rain...I keep a plastic bag in the bottom of my bag to put it in if I get caught! I have a couple ugly water spots on mine and want to avoid more, though with a nice patina they're not as noticeable.
