Have you ever thought of starting a blog? It would provide a perfect outlet for your creative writing, give us tpfers (and others) an opportunity to get a fairly regular dose of you.

I have thought of starting a blog but I am unsure of what I would talk about other than LV - and I already have my own site devoted to that topic, a personal space where I, as one who holds a deep respect and abiding love for Louis Vuitton, can pay homage to the brand.

Perhaps I could start a blog about my other love - travel. I'll have to give it some thought. Meanwhile, I will continue to utilize my creative writing skills here on tPF.

Fun video, beautiful pieces! With all your travels, how do you keep the vachetta (on the items that have vachetta) so clean?

With all your travels, how do you keep the vachetta (on the items that have vachetta) so clean?

I actually don't do anything with the vachetta. My suitcases, purses and totes (with the exception of the LE's) have seen rain and snow as well as sunshine. Having said that, I also do tend to use the Damier pieces more often than the mono. Not due to the vachetta but because the size and shape of the pieces allow for a week's worth of clothes, tolietries, laptop and computer gear to be packed in a carry-on.

My Speedy 40, Wapity, and Milla Clutch, all of which get more daily use, are turning a nice tan color. For me, it's an intended design for it to age and turn to a more vintage look. It's a badge of honor for pieces that are well used and well loved.

All the more treasured for it's scarcity, this 228-page printed catalog of the complete Louis Vuitton line is a much a part of my collection as any other piece. It was quite a delightful surprise when I was gifted one while visiting one of the US LV boutiques last summer as I had wistfully wanted one for years.

NOTE TO SELF: Do not leave luggage unattended at airport ... or, apparently, at home with the DGD around! :D

Those pictures of your little grand daughter are so gorgeous. She really looks like she's having a great time with your LVs...I especially like the ones of her rolling around in the LV paper bag!
