Similiar story to mine . I contancted Item clinic in Seoul and they quoted me at 4500 € . which clinic did you contact , Jogak?
Yes , dr song I believe , his track record is proven without a doubt , I spoke to many drs here in uae and they are had only good things to say about the procedure , and they also mentioned fat grafting surgery which in my opinion works for some of these individuals because in some cases 80-90% can be retained and it gives a nice contoured finish while being nearly zero chance at your body rejecting it . But my case definitely needs bone cement .

I’m also curious why nobody has tried “Item clinic” lately it’s only close distance down the road and I couldn’t believe some of the work that dr does and he’s also had thousands of patients and I was quoted at a reasonable price also,
I’ll upload one of this client.

Thanks for your post. It is interesting to me that doctors you spoke with said that fat grafting would also work! Opinions on that differ a lot. Dr. Song from Jogak also told be that he doesnt recommend using fat for skull reshaping. Of course - it only works to a certained degree for smaller volums needed, but I think it would be a good choice for me since you can also transfer fat to the area below the supreme nuchal line, where bone cement can not be placed due to muscles and tendons. Do you have any more information on that? Did you speak to doctors/clinics that already used fat grafting to the back of the head successfully? It would be really helpful for me, thanks :-)

Interesting stuff , but i think the area underneath supreme nuchal line gets filled pretty quickly once you gain weight (neck gets bigger per se). On the other hand , area above that and all the way to the top of the head cant get bigger no matter how much weight you gain. So i can see why everyone is after bone cement and why every doctor does that kind of surgery , and not fat grafting.

I'll be going to dr. Woo Jin Chung (Item) for back of the head surgery in about 2 months. This is what guy that did surgery there said to me :"Almost all the clinics are in one area (Gangnam), there are hundreds of them, but the problem with Koreans is that they live in their own world, it is almost impossible to contact them from the outside. If you had a Korean friend who could call them, it would be much faster, plus from what I know if they talk to a Korean they can bargain. I chose Ittem because only they and Jogak answered me, and they were cheaper, although it was still expensive for me, but I paid this money and I am 1000% satisfied, it was worth it, after 2 weeks I had a feeling that I had never had a flat back of my head. In the first posts, Ashli also mentioned item, it was a large clinic, but they did not survive Covid and closed, and the new Ittem was founded by one of the doctors who founded his own clinic. ."
Hope it helps.

Hello, I hope there are still people here.
I'll share some photos with you. What do you think?
I'm undecided between Jogak or Dr. Adrian Hsieh, who seems more convincing because he offers personalized implants and the results seem more satisfactory. However, the quote is more expensive, between €10,800 and €12,000.
What would you recommend? I need help.

Hey! ..you might not like to hear that (as most of us would not), but looking at your profile, it's really not that bad in my opinion. Your back of the head already has a quite round shape and not like a real flat area or bumps like many other in this forum have. So if you are really 100% sure you would want a surgery, personally, I would go only for a very subtle volume increase and I think Dr Song might be the better (and cheaper) choice for you then.
Just carefully plan your desired outcome and if you are not sure go for less additional volume rather than too much (like in my case).
Hope that helps:smile:

Excatly. That's why i recommended Jogak . Implant would be overkill in my opinion.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your help! I think I suffer from brachycephaly. I think we all tend to automatically exaggerate our flaws, even though I admit I suffer from them every day. In any case, I'm going to take the time to think about it.

Yeah, take your time! This is not a topic you want to make a quick emotional decision. When you look in the mirror see your head as a whole, not just looking at the back only. You might also wanna try editing images of your profile in tools like photoshop e.g. to get an impression of what additional volume does to your overall symmetries.

View attachment 6166309View attachment 6166310Hello, I personally use Snapchat to get an idea, but I don't know if it's feasible. Do you know if we can add an implant later if it's not enough? That's what I'm afraid of...
Hello.I know its a painting and that's an exagaration but still it looks like a lot . Item clinic replied to me that they can add 1-1.5 cm of thickness .On the picture it looks like 3 cm to me? As far as i know you can add more after the surgery , check out the video i sent 5 posts above . At 2:30 minute mark the doctor explains that its possible to add volume after few years but ... there could be some side effects .

So you think I won't get the desired result? Because adding less doesn't seem to change anything... I'm desperate

Is there a reason that you are interest in ITEM clinic over Jogak? My advice, reach out to Dr Song in Jogak clinic, show him the above picture of your desired result and he will be able to advise you on whether it is doable. I don't think Item clinic is ideal.
