Great thread! I haven't started an obsession with the older season's bags. Mainly because they're waaaay out of my budget, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what fine taste you have! Love.

Apologies if it's already been asked, but do you have a favorite?

They are all lovely, but I have to say the 02 FBF is my favorite! The leather is just TDF!!! I would honestly put all doubts aside, as everyone I have ever trusted to be in the know, has stated they believe it is authentic. I am known for being super picky about the bags I buy, and I truly would not only feel confident of the 02's authenticity, I would feel that the PC pocket lining makes the bag even more rare. You've got an amazing collection of FBF's, and not only is the 02 fabulous, I am blown away by the amazing condition of it!!! If you ever list it on ebay, I am sure many of us here, would be all over it!!!

FANTASTIC THREAD!! i love the pics jade. one question, does the difference in leather--pebbled and then agneau/chevre--make a difference in the weight of the bag?

Definitely! The arena leather FBF weighs next to nothing compared to the pebbled ones. The pebbled leather is a lot thicker and more robust, I feel like I don't have to 'baby' them as much.

Just curious if Balenciaga still makes this bag or if anyone owns one and has pictures. I just searched and found a few pictures but wanted to know more about this particular style. Any information would be greatly appreciated :) If you have pics, can you post them? thanks!!
