I used a photoshop macro to batch process watermarks onto the pictures, and noticed that in some pictures the watermark is obscuring details I would have like to show. I'll go through them when I have more time and redo the pics.

I'll try my best to oblige any requests, so feel free to ask for more detailed shots. I am a terrible photographer though.

In the course of taking these pictures yesterday, I noticed something about one of my FBF which really upset me, so I forgot to take some shots the rest of the FBF after the season 2 arena leather FBF, which I've tried to remedied by taking them today, which is why you'll notice the different lighting and background.

To add to my earlier post with the note about the season 2 black arena leather FBF, I noticed that the inside pocket had the wording 'Pierre Cardin' on the lining. Some of you might remember the caramel FBF posted awhile back with 'Pierre Cardin' on the lining of the front pocket. Well, this is proof that there is at least another one with a similar lining, only mine is on the outside of the inside pocket lining.

Respected tpfers have contributed to the Le Dix thread in the reference section, stating their opinions that the PC lining does not indicate that the FBFs are fake.

I am still torn as to whether I have an authentic season 2 black arena leather FBF, and the sad thing is I would probably never know for sure.

Does this bother me? Yes, it does. I have no idea what course of action to take from here.

I guess I should pick a choice - either it is authentic, or it's not. Either I trust in the expertise of the tpfers helping us out in the 'Authenticate This Balenciaga' thread, or I don't. I don't think there is a middle ground here, I can't possibly seek their help in authenticating, and cherry pick what I believe. If I trust in the authenticity of the bags they have helped me with before, I should trust their opinions that this particular FBF is authentic.

Right?

Sorry about the babble, I am thinking out loud here, and arguing both sides as I am wont to do.

I would really appreciate any suggestions/opinions/thoughts. TIA!

oh sweetie, i know you've been really upset over the lining issues and i hope it gets sorted out soon and that you can get a definite answer. :(

whoa :yahoo: thanks!! i love the firsts with the longer straps... and i dig the strap closures on the fbf's better.

that is strange about the lining :confused1: have you tried contacting balenciaga and asking if this is unusual?
