My first LV & a slight disappointment

I just received my Mon Mono Speedy today, and the handles were wrapped in plastic, and the lock and keys set was still in the box. If it's not perfect, I'd exchange it. My new Bleu Nuit Alma was damaged (I found a scratch in the vernis leather on it), and they are getting me a new one.

that would bug me. i would exchange it. i would want the handles still wrapped. i am picky person though so up to you!

Congrats! I don't think they have specific boxes for speedy, just like the boutique they fit bags as best they can with what is available or the person that packaged it might just prefer it that way.

It's a lot of money for not completely content with your purchase. I would exchange it in the store.

I just ordered my alma last week from online and it arrived today. My lock was hooked on the handle and the keys were already in the holder. I'm glad I didn't have to put it all together. On the topic of the scratches. I hear ya. You paid well and should receive something that looks like it was handled with gloves for that much (imho). If you can get over it though knowing how easily marked vachetta is, then great. If not, don't keep a purse that makes you second guess ANYTHING.
