My Experience with the "Letter"

In my defense for the glove purchase, there was a huge table of the gloves out on the sales floor, with at least a good 150 - 200 pairs of gloves piled onto it. Therefore, I wasn't hogging up or depleting the store's inventory of gloves. Also, there were more of the gloves kept in the back/stock room because the SAs kept bringing more of them out if someone couldn't find a pair out on the table of a particular style or color that they wanted. I ended up purchasing three different styles of the gloves in different sizes and colors, with only one add'l pair exceeding the quantity limit.

Sorry Expy00...I didn't mean to make you feel you need to defend your purchases. it wasn't my intent. I just wish Coach would have a policy on quantities because when I hear about people wiping out a whole table, it's disappointing to say the least especially when it takes at least 3 hours out of my day to go to the outlet. I feel worse for the people who travel further and see this happen.

Thank you for the compliments on my collection. It has taken 3 years for this madness to grow to this point. My husband was kidding me while I was taking the pictures saying--wow maybe it is a good thing they banned you. LOL I still have not taken my daughter 's but she has quite a few too. And I didn't even take pictures of my shoes. In my original pics I forgot about the purse I am carrying now. Thats why it is included. I think it looks better individually though because you can see the wallets. When I took the group they really didn't show up. Oh well I will let you all know what happens. And Thanks again for all of the great advice.

so here is my idea for all the ladies who are intrested, lets all contstruct a letter with all the feed back that we have seen on the TPF and then once this letter is complied, we can all send the same e-mail to Cx service with our own name. THe mass increase in letters with the same exact concerns should raise an eyebrow or two at corprate and they can then look more into the issues we all have been having.................. Just a suggestion,,,,,,

It stinks that you got that letter. I don't understand Coach going after re-sellers, to be honest. Its frustrating when you want just one bag at an outlet, and someone's cleared the shelf, but from Coach's standpoint, they are selling the bags at a price-point they decided on. Why should they care what people do with the bags after that point? They made their money.

Limiting the amount of goods that someone can buy at a certain price is ok, but then there needs to be a way of actually doing that and tracking it, not just randomly doing it. It seems silly but maybe they should just do a rewards card where you can only get the sale price if you have your card, and then they can limit it to 3 or whatever they want. I realize it makes it sound cheap, but its certainly a better solution than banning customers that are just trying to buy amazing collections and give gifts.

I would call corporate and tell them about that ***** of an SA. Im sure they wouldnt like to hear about an SA speaking rudely about a customer in front of their face.

And is she an SA or just a cashier? Cause if shes a SA shes prob jealous that shes losing out on comission.

I hope everything goes in your favor. I understand Coach wants to crack down on re-sellers, but they are going about it the completely wrong way. I could understand if they were able to track you through an ebay sale, but thats not the case. And you said you bought alot around Christmas, shouldnt that be a sign to them that they were GIFTS? ridic.

But please keep us updated!! good luck!!
