I had 3 stained areas as the numbered pictures (#1 was just patch tests I did). I left the bag with Royal for repairs on 27/11. I paid for a full restore package.
I went to pick up my bag on 16/12 and found that there were new damages to my bag! There a few needle holes and a yellow stain which weren’t on my bag before. I refused to accept the bag and was assured that a manager would call me to discuss. I did not receive any calls from the manager.
I got a text confirmation on 19/12 to come and pick up my bag from the following day. I went to pick up my bag today 21/12 and I was disgusted at the service. My bag has all the damages as per the non-numbered pictures attached. The shop assistant called the owner for me to talk to. The shop owner (ALEX) argued with me on how leather is imperfect etc. I refused to accept as I paid for a full restore and now my bag has lots of damages that weren’t there before. One of which is a really obvious patch that was probably a result of repairs to the yellow stain that I complained about on my first pick up. The conversation wasn’t going anywhere so the owner turned on this assistant and blamed her for not noting the issues correctly when I came to pick up my bag on 16/12. I then reiterated that I’m not happy to accept the bag in its current state. THE OWNER HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME!
HOW APPALLING! I can’t believe this business is servicing high-end designer product repairs.
I have left the bag there for the owner to RESTORE my bag to a satisfactory condition. I will take actions to report this joint to the appropriate authorities should my bag still comes back with damages and not fully RESTORED!
