My A+ experience buying from ELady!

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to TPF and didn't know about eLady until I read this thread. Since I'm originally from Japan, I decided to do little research on this company just from curiousity. I am not associated with this company and have not purchased bags from them (yet). I just wanted to share what I found with you.

CEO of this company is actually a Caucasian guy living in Tokyo. It is audited by Deloitte and Touché, big 4 accounting firm, which tells me their finances are under auditors' scrutiny. Auditors will not check the authenticity of their merchandise but their presence adds some comfort to me. This company has a Japanese online shopping site in addition to global site, and it actually provides authentication service to other big name online shopping site.

I checked Japan's largest shopping site that eLady lists their goods for customer reviews. It had about 500 reviews with 4.95 stars out of five. Not bad. I didn't really find anything negative about this company. I might buy something from them if I find a good deal.

I also wanted to know if there's any price differences between their Japanese site and global site. I was interested in one particular Speedy mono 30, listing price on the global site was approximately $60 higher. I think it's reasonable considering that eLady pays for international shipping.

My impression is that eLady is not much different from Yoogis. I hope this information helps.

I recently purchased a Keepall Bandouliere 55 and it was amazing. She described it as a B ranked bag, but to me it looked like it wasn't even used. The shipping was super fast and it came in 2-3 days after she shipped it out. I would also like to point out that their is a 5% off incentive to buy from her if you are a new customer. She takes great photos so you can easily get it authenticated here on the forum and she ships super fast. I love my Keepall and I also just purchased the Soho backpack that she had available. This is an amazing site with amazing prices. It is the perfect store to get preloved items in my opinion. Anyway that's my two cents I hope that helps!

Congrats on your keepall! I only buy preloved from this site. I been eyeing a keepall on her site too ;)

Many of the purses on elady site say something about the odor of the bag.. I've been eyeing on one that doesn't say anything about the odor. Do any of you know or have experienced if this means that it doesn't have any smell to it? I tried contacting them with email, but no answer at least for now.

My personal experience with a pochette purchased from elady - no odor was mentioned in the description and it does not have an odor at all.

Reading this it looks like elady.con is all authentic. I was about to make a purchase of a hermes and Chanel bags, but I was wondering why the name of her Chanel bags are different. For example it doesn't day flap or medallion tote? Anyone have any feedback as to why? Are they authentic Chanel?

Hi ladies, just want to ask how long you usually wait for elady to reply your emails? I know that I usually wait only 1 day for the replies.

But I placed an order on Thursday and another one on Saturday. Since then I sent them 2 emails and I didn't receive any replies. So yesterday I sent them another 1 and still no reply.

My last order was on a Saturday, and by Monday I received a tracking number.

This time I ordered on a Thursday and now it's Tuesday here in Australia and I haven't received any reply to my emails nor a tracking number. I love elady but I'm pretty disappointed with them atm.

And if you are wondering why I can't be more patient, that is because elady normally answering your emails fast and also because I told them that I'll be away on Dec 5th so I need them to ship my bags asap.

With no phone number to call, I feel like I'm being ignored really. Is this normal for them not answering emails for 5 days or more? And FYI, in the past there were some of my emails (just inquiries) which I never got any replies.

I just hope they will ship my bags asap and pray that customs won't hold them for too long. :nogood:
