My A+ experience buying from ELady!

I had wanted the Sully for awhile but DH didn't like it. But, when I saw the Audacieuse and showed it to him, he told me that he thought the Audacieuse is the leather upgrade of the Sully. He usually doesn't have a strong opinions about my bags but he really likes the Audacieuse. I know the suede can be a little polarizing. I love the little touch that it adds to the bag.

Unfortunately, the RB vernis key holder is now in the sleeper and in a box. Too much color transfer from my husband's jeans when he drives and uses my keys. I did buy the monogram RB key holder to replace it and I love it so much more than the vernis. It's a lot less high maintenance and the canvas stretches and fits the fob for my car. So, as gorgeous as RB vernis is when it is in pristine condition, I would get Amarante unless you're prepared to really baby it.

My Ombre Audacieuse at the movies:

in the light:

The ombre is so gorgeous:loveeyes: such a beauty!...and your Curieuse Bronze wallet is a beautiful compliment to the ombre. I agree with you on the suede. I think it softens the look of the bag. Do you use anything to keep it looking so pristine?

Great advice on the key holder. Color transfer would crush me. I originally wanted the RB mono but it is sold out everywhere in Canada.

I bought a suede protector but have yet to use it. I treat my bags fairly well so I think that pays off.

If anyone who lives in Canada has purchased from elady would you mind disclosing if you paid duty and if so how much? I'm trying to figure out if u buy a purse priced at $837 usd how much duty I'll be on the hook for?

I just want to share my first experience with Elady, I received my bag and bracelet today, which took only a few days to arrive, and the bag is superb, the condition of the bag is much better than described and so is the bracelet, they had been described as a B, but in my opinion the condition is better than that, I am so happy with my items....... But..... There is a sting to this story, my parcel was stuck in customs and when I tracked it, it said " retention " . I rang parcelforce who is the courier , quoting my reference number and I was told I have a customs charge of £217. I was absolutely shocked, I couldn't believe it, ELady marked my parcel as a gift but this did not work in my case, And it begs the question if it's actually worth purchasing , when you have to add such huge customs charges on top, this has completely put me off buying from ELady ever again, if you don't get stung by customs then it's well worth it , as the products are fantastic , but in my case the over all cost kind of defeats the purpose. You can not argue the charges, you have to pay them or they won't deliver your parcel, simple as that. So over all I'm quite disappointed.

Hi everyone - sharing my positive shopping experience with eLady where I purchase a bag from them in March 2016. Firstly, their range of bags is quite extensive and good for the shopper who is looking for past-season pieces. They are thorough and accurate in their assessment of the condition of the bag - in fact, I felt that they err'd on the side of caution when describing the bag's key aspects such as buckles, chains, corners, lining etc.but my bag ended up being in better condition than described.

The customer service team were incredibly helpful and responsive to my string of questions during a 3-week correspondence period, and they went as far as advising me how to manage the timing of the delivery of my purchase to coincide with my holiday trip to Japan in the following month (hence avoiding the risk of customs/duty charges if it was sent to my home country).

All in all a very positive first-time shopping experience with them! And here's a tip: it's worth monitoring the bag prices on eLady as they tend to fluctuate from week to week. The best time to catch the lowest prices are when they advertise a sale - my bag's price peaked as USD1498 but I waited for a few weeks and managed to grab it during the sale period for USD1408!

I know this question was a few months ago, but I did buy a small item from eLady ($129). I ended up paying $35 in duty when it arrived.

I just purchased a de neverfull mm with the rose ballerine interior from elady’s website. I’m so excited to see it come in the mail now! I’ll keep posting once I hear more. I took the plunge after reading everyone’s positive reviews. I was about to buy through eBay then read that you save a bit of $ going through her website. I purchased using PayPal so my mind is at ease.

I'm going to have to express my disappointment with eLady.

I purchased a Chanel flap through their website yesterday morning. Last night I got an email stating that the bag was listed from a third party vendor and that the bag is unfortunately not available.

Now, I know things happen and this isn't eLady's fault. However, I wasn't aware that they now list products from several different vendors through their personal (revamped) website. This makes it much more difficult to gauge whether what they have on the website is actually available and if the items are as described. Not to mention a bigger headache if I decided to return. It's bad enough to try to return something overseas, especially when their English isn't the strongest and that I need to account for the significant time difference. I might as well shop on eBay if this is the case.

Oh well, I guess in the end I saved money and it probably wasn't worth the trouble. Another good reason I should just save up my money and buy new. :annoyed:

We kind of had the same experience. Ordered a Keepall and received an email the next day that the order had to be cancelled due to a mishap in shipping where the bag had become damaged. Just didn't seem to ring true on a gut level.

So we ordered another bag at twice the price but of interest the pictures shown were the Elady old style where a the final shot of a mannequin was shown (this purchase went very smooth and bag was in excellent condition). As others have noted it appears Elady has gone from a solo consignment shop to more of a marketplace. Sadly that could be the downfall of an excellent supplier.
