My A+ experience buying from ELady!

Hi all, I'm the unfortunate person who has purchased the fake red balenciaga bag. This is my first balenciaga bag purchase and it turned out to be fake.

Read more about my authentication ordeal and the proofs supported by our dedicated authenticators at the balenciaga thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/balenciaga-shopping/elady-sold-me-a-fake-red-balenciaga-bag-898333.html

I have never seen a super fake balenciaga before. But I don't think my balenciaga was a super fake. There were obvious glaring mistakes which can be also easily pick out by a careful buyer. I haven't purchase an LV from her, so I can't comment on her LV products.

But this experience highlights how terrible elady is at identifying fakes.

eLady did refund my money as soon as the bag was returned - which they had to since payment is done through PayPal. But they continue to argue that the bag is real. They stopped replying when I mentioned about the 'N' metal tag confusion. All other attempts to get an email reply was futile.

The bag was relisted as soon as they have received it. See it here.

Out of good will, Paypal refunded my return postage but wasn't able to get eLady to be responsible for it.

Please be extremely careful - this amateur re-seller will definitely find it tough to detect LV superfakes.

I'm glad you were able to get your money back. It looks like eBay took the listing down.

I've been pleased with my e-lady purchases so far, but then I saw this today. I'm new to LV, but isn't "France" always capitalized on their heat stamps? :nogood:

let's see what they said. I emailed them about my bag, they said it's still 100% authentic, but I can send it back and let their experts look at it. I will see what's Lee or Abby said regarding the authenticity of the bag first! But I feel like it's a super fake!

No. It was lowercase in earlier years. Not commenting to authenticate, just a fact.

Thanks for the info! I wasn't interested in buying the bag, so not looking for authentication, but that lower case f just jumped out at me since I've never seen it before. Paranoia is setting in after reading about the fake Bal bag 😕

I am interested in seeing the answer to this too!

I just bought my fifth item from elady. I will have to make sure to get them all authenticated!

I know the F is capitalized now because I checked my stuff I bought straight from LV...but I believe the other member is correct that this might be vintage. It does look a little suspect, but I think it might just be vintage. I can't wait to hear what an authenticator will say...especially since I just bought a bag from Elady!!

Keep us updated!
Thanks! Lee just replied back with an OK! What a relief!

The thing that still bothers me was the zipper pull, and the stitches. But I checked on ebay / elady's website, half the trevi pm have the zipper pull like mine, and the other half have a different font..Also, I looked a lot of pictures online, and some of them do have the stitches look like mine!

We just have to be more careful with buying online / pre-owned no matter who the seller is!

eLADY or Global eLady have just sent me a FAKE Hermes Pour Tout Tote bag. I can tell it is fake as I already have a differnet colour Pour Tout and the material quality is nothing like Hermes high quality items.
Also POSTAGE IS NOT FREE! Not only did I have to pay a heft charge for Customs Tax (which I have never done before with anything I have bought abroad) I then was charged £27.00 by Parcel Force to deliver my bag.

BE WARNED! I tried to put this on Ebay forum but they took it off and are quite happy to let their buyers get ripped off!

Good to know that.

Personally, I won't ever buy anything frm elady. Even if it's the real deal, I won't ever buy from a reseller who relisted a fake bag despite being proven.

Oh dear. Why...?!

I'm so sad now. I have bought few items from them and at least few of them has been proven authentic on Louis Vuitton store. I would have not wanted to hear these kind of news.. :(

It is too bad she can not rectify the mistake. Maybe she really thinks the bag is authentic but how can she not be able to authenticate it when her/his business is solely base on selling authentic goods?? Her reputation can be tarnished unfortunately.

I dealt with her once asking if a purse smelled like cigarette smoke. She answered my question without answering it. She did not say yes or no. She wrote back saying smell is personal! To me, cigarette smoke is cigarette smoke. I don't think you can mistakenly it for anything else! With that kind of response, i just stayed away from purchasing it.

That "smell is personal" response is such bull****.
