My A+ experience buying from ELady!

Just wanted to stop in and give a little update. So after a week of trying several methods (airing it out by open window, placing it inside a ziplock bag with some dryer sheets) and being unsuccessful, the sneakerball method finally worked on getting rid of that nasty cigarette smell in my Eva DE. I placed one ball directly inside the Eva then placed the bag inside a ziplock bag along with the straps and dustbag along with the second ball. Left it alone for one week and it worked! Of course now my bag smells like the sneakerballs but to me that's so much better than the smell of cigarettes. I think with time and use, the sneakerball smell will go away. Yay!

I am deathly afraid of buying a bag that smells like cigarette smoke. I am glad you were able to get rid of the smoke smell. What are sneakerballs? I noticed Elady does not indicate if the bag has an odor whereas some of the sellers from Japan will comment on oder of bag.

Thanks. Was really glad I was able to get rid of that awful smell. Sneakerballs are meant for sneakers as a way to deodorize them. You can buy them on Amazon. They are like $4-6 for a pair. Yes, I agree elady needs to indicate whether a bag has an odor. Their response about how smell is relative and personal is such a cop-out! A smelly bag is a smelly bag.

I realllllllly want to to purchase a burberry bag off of elady, BUT the pic on the inside shows pocket and is very vague? Doesn't show the inside tag or product code? Maybe because the bag is nylon/leather? Any insight? New burberry buyer here!

She sold a fake Balenciaga recently, documented in Bal forum. Be cautious with any reseller.

oooh, I read that! Everything I've bought from her has been given the green light by our lovely and wise authenticators. I wonder if she just specializes in Louis Vuitton? That's what they were thinking in that thread.

Its always buyer beware, but I've been very successful so far.

Wow! This is crazy! I thought elady is so good and only sell authentic stuff and I just got a bag from her! Thank God mine is good!

If i read this post earlier I might not consider buying from her - because if a buyer reported a fake bag and they should do their investigation or confirm the bag is real before posting it online for sale again! I am not sure if I will buy from her again now!

I agree! It's the principle of it. So far everything I purchased have been authentic, but to know that something is fake and still list it is disappointing to hear! I read that the buyer notified elady that the bag was fake and they even gave a refund, but they relisted it.

I recently purchased a Delightful from there and had it authenticated by Carol Diva when I received it. It looks better than the pictures and I am very pleased. That is terrible if they actually relisted a fake bag. I will still browse their site but I will be more careful now.

Hi all, I'm the unfortunate person who has purchased the fake red balenciaga bag. This is my first balenciaga bag purchase and it turned out to be fake.

Read more about my authentication ordeal and the proofs supported by our dedicated authenticators at the balenciaga thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/balenciaga-shopping/elady-sold-me-a-fake-red-balenciaga-bag-898333.html

I have never seen a super fake balenciaga before. But I don't think my balenciaga was a super fake. There were obvious glaring mistakes which can be also easily pick out by a careful buyer. I haven't purchase an LV from her, so I can't comment on her LV products.

But this experience highlights how terrible elady is at identifying fakes.

eLady did refund my money as soon as the bag was returned - which they had to since payment is done through PayPal. But they continue to argue that the bag is real. They stopped replying when I mentioned about the 'N' metal tag confusion. All other attempts to get an email reply was futile.

The bag was relisted as soon as they have received it. See it here.

Out of good will, Paypal refunded my return postage but wasn't able to get eLady to be responsible for it.

Please be extremely careful - this amateur re-seller will definitely find it tough to detect LV superfakes.

since the fake bal bag incident, i went home and looked at my new purchase carefully, and found the R on the logo is kind of messy, the zipper pull isn't quiet as nice as others, and the stitches are off..so i immediately posted on the authentication post, hopefully we can tell if elady is worth to buy or not! it was my first purchase, so if it turns out to be a fake i won't buy again and return immediately!
