As someone else earlier on this thread mentioned, LV definitely needs to perfect their process of monogramming patterns onto the canvas. :evil:

These examples that I've read on other threads: glue coming off a vernis spring street, paint chipping off a multicolore bag, paint chipping off a limited edition Cherry Blossom bag - this is $1000+ merchandise, and yet there are still sub-par inconsistencies?
Unacceptable.

I also just wanted to add that I hope that these were isolated incidents/isolated "defects".


I've owned multicolore items for several years and I haven't seen any fading or paint-chipping. They're still in great condition.
 
I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to your bag but even more that they won't exchange it. That would be unacceptable to me and I would probably not buy LV often anymore. For $1000, it better be perfect or really close to it (and great customer service).

I agree. If your paying that much money for a handbag you should be accomodated, if there is a defect of any sort.
 
I agree with eyelove and Bagasm, totally ridiculous. I mean, it has to be clear to these people there's a problem, why did they need to send it off?... and without giving you a replacement? Bah.
 
Hi all, I went to LV shop tonite....the SA told me that they will call me about 7-10 days, but no one call me after 2 weeks, so I walked in.
The SA was so suprised that no one call me, after he check it for me, he said I can exchanged anothe item that is same amount of the MC wapity. They don't recommand/suggest me to pick the MC wapity again....becoz it will fade off colour for sure. That is SO STUPID:sick: . Then I requested to refund, but there is no REFUND in Hong Kong(DAMN!!:evil: ). So after few conversations, the serior SA told me that they will issue me a debit note(for 1 year limited). So I decided save the debit note for the SLIVER SPEEDY:love: ! hehehe~~
 
Bummer, you'd think they'd at least do something more (e.g. make an exception and give you a refund) because of the bad customer service.

By the way Candice, which part of Hong Kong are you from ? My mom used to live near 太子.
