Mulberry Emmy strap- fastener

Hello.

I love my Emmy, but unfortunately the lock has stuck, so it is now impossible to change the way their posisions when I want to to so. Does anyone know if a normal oil designed for locks will work?

I use wd-40 on my hardware/zippers.
Silicone lubricant spray should work, also.

Really good suggestion. Would have been worried of using it on a bag without the tip
