I currently work at saks in Costa Mesa but my school is in Pasadena and I can't take the drive! But it seems that no one is hiring? Every time I call a boutique or department store I get passed off then hung up on. Anyone have any advice? This there something I am missing?

I'd either go into the store or look on their website for opportunities. It really depends on their hiring practice, but you're not going to be able to submit your CV or complete an application over the phone.
Hey! Looking for a new job can be frustrating at times, especially when you also have the responsibility of school. Is there another Saks close to your school that you can transfer to? If not, I would definitely make copies of your resume and walk into the places your interested in. Managers will always appreciate when they're able to put a face to a voice.
