Mourning a sale?

Let me know if I’m off my rocker here... I have LOVED my medium nut Marcie Satchel and I’ve babied her to pieces. However, the time had come when she was starting to lose some shape/structure, I was realizing she was heavier than I wanted, and I had purchased other bags that had her sitting farther back in the closet than she deserved. Question: do you ever feel sad for selling a bag you’ve loved, even though you know it’s time to part ways?

I feel good in getting great use and happiness from a bag for so long, if that means passing on the love to someone else at some stage then that's fine too.

I just recently sold an item that I adored for years and years but that I never used anymore. My lifestyle has changed and this item became obsolete. It made me a little sad for a minute when I sent it on its way. I felt like I was abandoning it! However, I know it was the right decision and someone else gets to love it and give it a new life. And, of course, I m thankful for the extra space in my closet.
