Most popular Hermès bag for Parisian women?

I know this is an old thread, but I just came across it. There seems to be an assumption that people are wearing twilies to protect handles. I don’t have a Twillie or a charm on my anemone Birkin because I think it’s so stunning on its own but I have a twillie on my black Kelly only because it Love the pop color on it. Has nothing to do with predicting anything. I carry my bags everywhere including gym. There is also a difference between enjoying a bag and throwing it down in a sand.

Not too old a thread. I saw K32s; Bolide35s; Birkin 35s, all somewhat stuffed and battered on the left bank.
(seventh arr) specifically near furniture galleries and shops.

on the right bank, I saw some smaller sizes with twillied handles on tourists, plus quite a few Victorias, packed to the gills.

on line for the Modigliani exhibit, I saw the so kelly and a her bag

ETA: I also saw a lot of old balenciaga on the street
the last pic also caught the edge of DH’s sac a depeches 21

The So Kelly seems like such a great bag. I’ve never seen one in the wild.

Definitely spoil yourself and get one! It is the most perfect handbag every created, IMO. :drinks:
I agree that the Bolide is great! It's easy to use; you can leave it open or close it quickly; it's not flashy and can be carried to lots of different occasions, night and day.
I do also love the Victoria and the So Kelly.

I see a lot of picotins - carried by elegant ladies, in a relaxed carefree way. Would love to hear from those of you who live in Paris though. @QuelleFromage
This was in a cafe and managed to sneak in a photo.
I live on the Left Bank and I see a lot of Kellys and Birkins. Kellys from size 25 up to 35. Birkins 30 and up. The B25 and mini Kelly I mainly see on tourists. I do see the Bolide a fair amount. The Halzan seems popular; also the Victoria and the occasional Plume. Picotin is pretty rare where I live. Lindy even more so, even though those two bags are really popular in US and Asia.
I carry my mini Bolides and mini Evelynes all the time but never see them on anyone else

I do see the Picotin more on the Right Bank, specifically the 8th, 16th, and tourist areas. In these areas I also see more Birkins and more Hermès in general - it's more like NY's UES or London's RBKC.

Some really great vintage sightings here: Monacos, Pianos, Lydies, Pullmans. In the "cooler" neighborhoods like Pigalle, Haut-Marais, Oberkampf, Bastille, Canal St-Martin - way more vintage than new when you do see Hermès.
I see more men with H bags here than I do in the States: HACs, Steves, the various backpacks.
