If you mean no serial number stamped on the creed patch, Coach stopped doing that a year ago. That's been mentioned many times in these threads. Current bags don't have any stamped serial numbers. The production codes are now on a tiny fabric tag that's usually inside the inside pocket.

And a LOT of Coach bags NEVER had serial numbers. I don't know where you heard that all Coaches have to have numbers but that's very wrong.

Read the Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay for correct information, and ignore the rest - the Salearea Guides will usually explain why, just like with YKK zippers.

And we always suggest that opinions about the authenticity of Coach products in general or a certain bag or item in particular be left to the experts in these forums - there's just too much really bad information on the internet that confuses and misleads people.
