I think in general, smaller bags are harder to come by? My SA said they only get about two K20s a year, though, not sure if I believe that. I was offered a K20 earlier this month, but in a color way that I wasn’t interested in (tricolor) so I declined.

I eventually do want a B25, but I’m a diehard Kelly fan and don’t want to give up my chances of scoring a K25 by “settling.”

I thought the quota was 2 bags a year?

Im pretty sure Canada is 1 quota a year unless you’re a VIP/VVIP since for those there are always exceptions and rule bending. Well my SA did say if you get offer a bag say early Jan. such as in 2019, depending on a few factors you may be able to get another bag end Dec. 2020 Factors being bag specs, SM approval, etc.

I thought so as well , but somehow my SA keeps telling me that most get 1 bag per year. ... honestly I have no clue what is going on lol I think all is possible with them.
I also would love a k25 , would be wonderful , I initially believed I would accept nothing else ... but here I am 2 birkin later and no Kelly .
My sa said for every 1 Kelly she gets at least 10 birkins .... who knows.
i know Canada is hard , at this point I learned to love the brand and that is why accepting other bags that fit in my life has been great. I also now only buy things I love and wear.
Being offered a Kelly is wonderful ! And that just implies that you will one day get the dream bag you want, it takes patience , which I realize is hard :)

Exactly what I have been told... in theory it’s 2 per year but the reality of things is that most get 1.
i am more than ok with that. As long as I do get offered something i want

Hermes does really test ones patience! I knew I wanted a B eventually, the order has just been reversed where I got it first before getting a Kelly. I’ve heard a b30 and k28 are similar in terms of availability but once it comes to b25 and k25, k25 is much harder to get especially when we’re in Canada :( of course US is another story, it seems they can get things so much easier. I’ve also learned to love the brand and will be patience as money doesn’t grow on trees haha

That is exactly my sentiments ... for me personally I have not gotten any of the bags I truly want, k25 and C 18. Buy along the way I got mini Evelyn; b25,b30.
I honestly love thé brand now and realize that in my case I need to be patient and that I don’t need to rush anything. If I had an endless budget then maybe i
Would just purchase an for tens of thousands and expect exactly what I want, but alas that is not the case. Also I realized that I need more than 1 bag , so I’m enjoying the ride and getting nice things while waiting for my unicorns :)
I also realized that we might list for a bag but when we finally get it , it might not be as practical or wonderful as we expected.
I know certain US boutiques have such easier Time in obtaining bags, makes me think that my entire handbag journey would be different if I lived in another city :(

After a couple months of pretty heavy spending I was offered my dream B30 early December. I find that the relationship with the SA was the most important factor. I was gonna set my eyes on a k25 next, how long have you guys been waiting?

Love a K25 but have no idea what to do to get one.

Wow ! I am sure you will get a Kelly then !
If you shop often and have a good relationship then I don’t see what will stop you from acquiring one. Stock was and is low. I have a nice relationship and so spend , but it depends on the quota . I think with Kelly it might be more than what I spend.
I would love to know as well!

Do you think it’s a good idea to shop during the quarantine, ie have the store ship items to your home? Or should I wait until restrictions are lifted and I can go into the store? I feel like if I buy things and have them shipped, I have less of a chance of being offered a bag.

It depends on if you expect a bag now or later on during the year. A bag right now is slightly more difficult, unless you are bio or buy a great deal of things. Maybe you can get a few little items now and see if the stores will reopen I February
I myself am in that dilemma but I am not aiming for a quota bag now, I am aiming for one at the end of the year. In my case I might purchase items that I would not want to miss out on , new collection 2021

I’m hoping for a quota bag sooner rather than later. I’ve been building my profile and wanted to add a few more things because (1) I love the items and (2) it’ll diversify my profile. The last time I visited, I was offered a K20 but declined due to the color. Hence why I feel like visiting the store increasing the chances of being offered something. Because prior to going into the store, my SA never mentioned that she was going to offer anything. She did say the combo that I’m after will take some time so to be patient. But I don’t want to stop purchasing and be forgotten.

I don't shop at the Montreal store (am in Toronto) but always curious to see what's happining in Canada. I would keep in touch regularly by text, Does the Montreal store do virtual appointments? I suspect the SAs all know that its difficult to shop right now and would be sympathetic. I bet there are alot of people who are not shopping as much as they would be right now if stores were open.
P.s. I wouldn't necessarily count on restrictions being lifted February.

I understand how you feel. Have you gotten a quota bag yet or just the 1
Offer ? Are you sue for a bag , or have you spent a decent amount ?
if so , just be patient with the next few weeks. If stores stay closed then yes I would keep contact and get items. But as far as being forgotten in 1 month , I highly doubt it.
I also doubt they will receive a large shipment of quota bags now.
If you really want an item ASAP then order it .
