Mono Sarah repairs

Hi I finally managed to get to a town w a boutique and the leather good specialist recommended sending my mono Sarah for a repair due to the small crack in the glaze near the flap

Should I expect this repair to prevent it from happening again?

Also I know some people have complained about the card slots in this wallet curling upwards when you don't use it. Is this a concern when not using it for the month or so it will take to complete the repair and come back to me?

The repair might not prevent it from happening again but I was told by LV that a repair has a lifetime warranty so if it happens again they'll have to fix it for free. The cc slots do end up curling a bit - mine have curled slightly even on the wallets I use a lot. But that one month shouldn't hurt it!

I wish LV repairs were guaranteed for life! The glazing on my Mono Zippy Organizer wallet started peeling a few years ago. I sent it in for repairs through the store in Pittsburgh, PA. It was returned to me in beautiful condition, packed as if it were a brand-new purchase, at no charge. I was thrilled! When the glazing began to peel again about two years later, I again contacted the Pittsburgh store and inquired about a second repair. The price I was quoted was like three or four hundred dollars! No thank you.
