i purchased it yesterday and used it last night for the first time. i love it! my skin looked so smooth and did not become dry -as it sometimes does during winter months- by the end of the night. i was amazed at how radiant i looked.

i like how you applied both to the back of your hands. i need to do that next time.

i almost couldn't find it either but since you ladies told me where it was i stood in front of the tampon aisle like a dummy. i just stood there & my eyes kept darting back & forth until i finally saw it. :)

I love Monistat CG as a face primer! Sometimes I even use it without foundation if my skin is being extra good and I don't have any red spots or pimples :p Makes my skin look so smooth and even!

So, I was in Target yesterday and decided to pick this up. I still have about 1/2 tube of Smashbox Photo Finish left, but decided I'd risk the $5.99 on the Monistat just for kicks. I tried it this morning and so far, I really like it. I used what I would call a small pea-sized amount for my entire face. The consistency is thicker than Smashbox, so you have to work quickly in applying it, and it seems to have a hint of a baby powder type scent. It seems less greasy/slick than Photo Finish and seemed to provide more of a matte finish, so I can see where this might be awesome in hot climates. My foundation (Bare Minerals) went on easily and so far it seems to be providing the usual flawless finish that I'd get with Smashbox. So, I'm pretty pleased. I'm going to see if I can somehow refill my Smashbox tube with the Monistat, though, so I'm not carrying a tube of freakin' Monistat in my cosmetics bag. LOL. For the record, I found mine on the "feminine hygiene" aisle, next to the tampons and "Summer's Eve" type products.

For $5.99 for 1.5 ounces, vs. $49 for 2 ounces of Smashbox, I'm sold.

I can't believe how inexpensive this stuff is in the US. I pay $10/tube here in Canada. Which, I know is still better than the price of actual face primers, but still.

I was amazed to find how it completely filled in some large pores at the place where the sides of my nose meet my face (hard to explain). With this, they disappear under the foundation.

Olay also has a filler, but I can't remeber the name, of course not as inexpensive.

^^ Seriously!!! I have huge pores at the sides of my nose and apples of my cheeks, and this stuff just fills it in and creates a beautiful and smooth canvas on my face for applying foundation. I've used this for months and I love it!!! :heart: Definite HG quality!

Oh my gosh, I'm trying this too. makes me want to run out and buy it tonight! I was sold after the reviews about it filling in pores. That's just what I need. Thanks ladies. I love this forum!

my skin is so silky smooth after applying it but i have to wonder if it causes breakouts?
i have very sensitive skin and noticed a minor breakout recently and i wonder if i'm clogging my pores?
