Have no idea if they're still together. I thought I read they had separated? He's in none of the photos too.

I remember for years, keeping Caroline's wedding pix from her marriage to the French guy, Phillipe (?). The first one. But then I was obsessed with her throughout my teen years.

And Steph definitely had THE BEST body. I remember her being photographed in this black bikini and wishing I had her body and her tan. Fast forward 20 years later and I'm glad I stopped tanning and saved my skin. At least my skin still fairs somewhat well and doesn't resemble my lovely smooshy, Balenciaga!

Steph was married only once I believe. Then she hooked up with the Circus guy. Who is her third child by? Man where are all the European Royalist on this thread? We need answers!
The first wedding! I thought she had a Star Wars vibe going on with the hair. I never forgot it.

Hmmm....not sure. We had this discussion the other night with my friend's sister whose hubby is quite handsome, has a great body for his age etc, and has women (clients) flirting with him all the time. I think it's possible for a woman to coerce/entice a man away from his wife if she's savvy enough but I guess this warrants a thread of its own.

I just think if a man is lacking the attention he wants/craves (in this case, they have 6 children so naturally she gives a lot of her attention to the kids) and he's getting it via customers/clients, it's quite easy for a woman to coerce a man away from his wife - IMO.

if a man or a woman wants to leave their mate, you really don't need to do too much coercing..

even if that's your thought, mine is you cannot steal or take away a person.

Wow. I just watched video footage of their kiss at the alter. Did anyone see it? Talk about awkward. It's like "Yeah, here you go biatch!" Talk about telling the world this is a loveless union.

I can understand why HE might settle for a marriage like that, but why would she? I understand that there is something attractive about marrying into money/monarchy, but surely she isn't destitute? She would be able to live comfortably without him, so why would she settle for this sort of "marriage"?

I just think there are many women in the world stupid enough to think that being a Princess/being married to a Prince, will bring them some happiness. Whether that's material happiness or whatever, I don't know. Personally it's something I cannot understand, nor relate to in any way.

Perhaps she just wants the fame that will come with marrying into European Royalty - not to mention access to designer everything?

Also, it's Monaco, such a fabulous place to live and not just anyone can live there.

She's a princess without all the boring stuff to do like Kate and William touring Canada and visiting factories and hospitals. Charlene can just sit back and enjoy everything life has to offer.

I'm assuming Albert is charming and Charlene must have been in love with him at some point...

I'm thinking maybe she doesn't look so 'into' it at the wedding because her facial features are sort of sleepy-looking to begin with. She's very beautiful in a cool blonde patrician way, but I've always thought that she looks sort of drained and...blank?

I liked the blue shade of the Chanel suit she wore to her civil ceremony but that long pleated chiffon skirt she paired it with made the outfit seem a little "mother of the bride"-ish...? The wedding gown was pretty though.
