I'm adding! KORS COLLECTION BANCROFT

this bag is so discounted right now and im thinking of getting it.....I love the Mulberry Bayswater and it reminds me of it, can you share how you liked using it? experience with it? im tossed with the medium or large bag......I think the large may be better for me, so hard not being able to see in person so any advice helps. thanks!

Hi All,
I am a bagoholic and used to buy Louis Vuitton etc until the babies came and now it's hard to justify. However, on my recent quest for a reasonable bag I almost by accident wandered into the MK department and came home with (and scored a great price!!!) a Michael Kors Collection Rogers medium hobo in luggage. The quality looks fantastic, lined in lucious suede, beautiful hardware and the size is perfect. My only quibble is "made in China"
My question is, being new to MK, what is the difference between MK and MK Collection????
And are those the only two "lines"????

I’d count the outlet as another line or sub brand of MK.

The three brands are
Michael Kors Collection
Michael Michael Kors though we all call them Michael Kors
Michael Kors outlet

The same with Coach
Coach 1941
Coach NewYork better known simply as Coach
Coach Factory Outlet

I love both brands a lot and I think both are making the same mistake of having their mid range price and high end lines in the same store.

I think both brands should separate their stores
Michael Kors have one store for Michael Kors and another one for Michael Kors Collection and Coach should do the same one store for Coach 1941 and a different for Coach NewYork.

Michael Kors Collection are the higher end bags. They are made of better materials and hardware. More leather products.

Michael Michael Kors which is what most people carry and in many malls and department stores is the more common folk line. There's more Monogram and saffiano leather. It's a lot more affordable so apt of people carry things from MMK.

Not necessarily. I have found two Michael Kors collection bags at a Marshalls in my state.
