Mixing LV with Non-LV?

mixing brand is ok in most cases!
who has the time to change wallets every morning ?
I don't own burberry rainboots but moonboots and a cashmere scarf and I wear it with my bal or longchamp le pliage as booth burberry items aren't in the classic glencheck but red-checked.

actually I think brand mixing can be sometimes more classy than from head to toe in one brand. saw once a lady in patent-dior-cannage boots, patent-cannage-belt and patent-cannage-bag. . . though all items were stunning it really looked kind of off/strang worn together. . .

How much brand-mixing is acceptable (if any), when the items are visible?

Even when I carry a burberry tote, I use my LV wallet. I don't think twice about that. However, I'm thinking about getting Burberry rain boots (and a scarf, if one hits me). But will this look too "label whoreish" if I carry an LV at the same time? I generally only carry damier bags, but wallets are mono.

Just curious! I can't decide if I would think someone was unreasonably logo-ed out if they had that on.

What you mentioned above sounds perfectly fine! It's hard for me to decide sometimes, too. When in doubt I stick to one obvious piece which is usually my handbag (I wear LV sunnies but no one can tell unless they're an LV whore like me as well, ;)hehehe).

Is the Burberry all the yellow check? Because if so, then no I wouldn't. It'd be too much to wear that print in the boots, scarf, and a tote. Then again I'm British so we have slightly distorted views of the traditional Burberry check.

I would only wear one piece with very visible/obvious logos, but that's just me. Subtler logos are OK, you can wear a few more of those perhaps.

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll have to try it on in the store and see how I feel about it.

I do want LV sunnies SO badly; I wouldn't even count those because I don't think they're terribly recognizable.

if you like it, i love it! life is too short to worry about others. some ppl considering carrying a mono bag being "label whoreish".

as far as mix/matching goes i primarly stick to LV but have an eiffel longchamp tote that i carry at times but ppl prob dont even know what it is.

Same for me. I only really have LV, but I don't see a problem with mixing!

I got my boots yesterday, no scarf. I don't love how it looks with my bag, but I don't like the look of rain boots in general, either. lol might as well rock what I've got!

And I'm such a dope... if it's raining enough to need rain shoes, I prob won't be carrying my LV. So maybe my question was for nothing -- Except I did get some sunnies from BB that I love and don't hit my scars. But I don't think anyone who's not looking for trouble will notice they're *gasp* not LV.

When the items are visible (i.e. a mixture of logos and brands in boots, clothes, hats, scarves, bags) I say "NO". It just screams bad taste...:wtf: LOL

When the items are not visible the entire time (e.g. a Burberry wallet inside a LV bag), I think its totally fine. Its much more classy to be discreet IMO.

I say it's fine for the most part. In fact I think it can get a little annoying to be head to toe in one designer---almost like a walking advertisement. I probably have 3-4 on at a time between a bag/wallet etc, sunglasses, shoes/boots, scarves etc.

I completely agree. You might care less about others, but there is such a thing as bad taste. I think that having different logos all over IS a bad taste. As mentioned above, subtler logos are just fine.
