The Kelly Berline is a lovely ( maybe more practical than feathers :graucho:) example of mixed media in a bag as well. K32 Sellier, with toile on the top, and coated ( waterproof) toile on front and back, with a back pocket. Comes in a variety of colors ( I've seen Noir, Rouge Piment, Bleu Saffir ( I think) and Vert Cypress. Perfect travel bag.

Really enjoying this thread @880 and all! What wonderful intricate bags H makes. I also adore @periogirl28‘s Kelly that is mixed media (a quadrille kelly in a shade of purple I believe).

I have no mixed media bags, but recently watched Jan Bajtlik on IG creating the Kelly artwork depicted in the Town and Country page below. I saw him draw on the Kelly itself, and it appears to be embroidered in the photo. I would adore this bag!!! I’m a big fan of his work anyway (and his IG feels are fabulous, he hang glides in the mountains and takes wonderful photographs) and I think this stunner qualifies as mixed media.

I saw it on his Instagram as well and it made me gasp. It’s stunning. I wonder if it is only a 1 of 1.

I love your toile b and k, @880. You’ve got me thinking about toile now  And I saw the bleu saphir b25 @Bdbunny has when one was on display at Madison and the way they incorporated the velvet strips with the leather is well worth a close up look. It’s one of those bags you feel you have to stroke. My one contribution to this thread is my marble silk Constance. I love the variety of designs in marble silk and have several of the twillies too.

Happy to contribute to this thread! Just got this at FSH. It’s a Birkin 25 and called the côte à côte tuffetage, with bleu saphir velvet, caban Swift and Permabrass hardware. My SA said it was new for this season. It also comes in black velvet but we both thought the bleu saphir was more special. It is a gorgeous rich color. Oh and it came with a little lint brush lol.
