Mixed 'Media' bags: Comparisons and Chat

I don’t own any of these bags but I think the techniques used to make them would be interesting to learn about.

The feathers are fantastic - and delicate, absolutely not for the faint-hearted - or with someone with few bags. I would add crinoline to the 'occasional use only' list.

Vibrato and leather bags are amazing. I almost bought a large Trim in Autumnal shades of Vibrato with Barenia, it was TDF - apart from a large stain on the front (Barenia part). I don't see much Vibrato around.

Making a case for the mixed exotic/leather bags too. I loved the exotic panels on Plumes leaving the sides and handles leather (2014). It makes me wonder why H say they don't make python bags because they're not durable/refurbishable, but then they will do ltd ed feather bags. They made them historically (a python Sac Mallette is on Joli Closet now) with a sturdy stamped leather lining. I've had python bags for decades and use them all the time, a python panel on a K would be TDF.
