Great modeling pix in here! Keep them going!

I actually wasn't planning on getting any Missoni for Target pieces because 1) I was too afraid of getting caught up in the Missoni Tuesday madness and 2) I have the regular Missoni stuff that I almost never wear. But, my best friend and I swung by a Target after having lunch on Friday to pick up some baby stuff. To our surprise, my friend spotted a few kids' items hanging in the kids dept. I tried on a girl's cardigan and turned around to look in the mirror. By the time I turned back, literally seconds later, everything on the rack was gone. Apparently, this woman standing near us had picked through the rack before we got there. After she saw us looking at the girl's cardigan, she came back and took all the rest of the inventory. Madness! It was such a hodgepodge of stuff in her cart (large women's lingerie set, small swimsuit, kids' stuff, etc.) that we speculate that she's probably buying them for resale on eBay.

Anyhow, here's my contribution to this thread:

Girl's cardigan in M

you look so cute with this sweater.

roussel - I love everything on you!!! Thanks for sharing your pics with us!!

Is that long open blue cardigan an online exclusive and what was its retail? $54.99? TIA!

I stopped at TJMaxx while I was out and they had a bunch of M Missoni clothing -- I put this cardigan on layaway (along with a long jacket that I absolutely LOVED!) -- I was thinking that this might look good with the paneled dress (and the zig zag striped dress if I ever find one). The color looks more orange or peachy in this pic, but it' really more of a golden brown with some orangey undertones -- what do you think? How would it look with this dress? (I have this dress and am still hoping to find the Zig Zag dress -- I actually did find one but the girl wants to trade & said she'd only sell it as a last resort)

It's a pretty pricey cardigan ($250) -- but I can wear it with a lot of other things besides this dress as well. (It would look totally cool with the brown/gold infinity scarf which I have -- the cardigan has gold thread throughout it!!)

There was also a draped blue cardigan I considered getting to go with the blue maxi dress, but looking at the colors now I don't really think it would go that great (you can sorta see the blue cardi in the background over my right shoulder)
thanks for the info. I like the cardigan and it can go with many outfits.

I had the same idea as yours. I tried to pair the brown sweater dress with a brown coat.

AAhh!! I *love* all of your mod shots! You look wonderful. Again, seeing your pics (being simillar body-shapes) It makes me so excited to recieve my items that I ordered without trying on!! May I ask, which size in the v-neck zig zag cardi you got, feel free to pm me if you don't want to advertise your size lol

Thank you. He he, my size is no secret. I got the size M in the cardigan and the rest of the clothing except for the green v-neck which I got a L. I do need to lose some lbs to get to my happy weight again.

Thanks! The long blue cardigan I got from my local Tarjay when it opened. I got lucky and scored most of the popular clothing on launch day. I think you are correct with the price.

Thank you Talinder and Melodysaw!

I am really loving everyone's posts. Unfortunately, it's making me regret a few pieces that I let go. icecreamom - loving your outfit with the black cardi. I ended up selling a few pieces at cost to friend's who missed out, and the black cardi was one that I let go.

roussel - love all of your outfits. kicking myself now because the brown/gold cardigan was another that I let go this weekend.

out of the clothing, I decided to keep the sleeveless black chevron sweater dress even though it's way short on me, and the long matching black/brown cardigan. I don't plan to wear them together, and will try to post modeling pics with a few planned looks soon.

also, sammi - I have the clipboard and will post a picture of that as well. it's super cute.

^^^^ super cute on you!

Super cute! I love how you're wearing it as a cropped cardigan. Work it!! And your tributes match perfectly. Kinda off topic but I've been wanting to get some lowell heel tributes and when I walk in them at the store my pinky toe is always trying to escape! Because of that I haven't bought a pair .. :(

you look so cute with this sweater.

Thanks ladies! Appreciate your compliments!

Hi ladies, I finally received my orders:
The pink sweater dress is a little bit tight and the coat is too big, I put all in one outfit just for fun - one of my friends once told me that Missoni is about making a statement so I shouldn't afraid of pulling all colors together.

Love this outfit, you look amazing! I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is your height? I'm trying to figure out a reference size of this cardi :D

Thanks everyone! Yes the skirt runs TTS. I like the wide banded waist.

I also like the banded waist, but have noticed while wearing it that is tends to get twisted on the inside (the part where it is sewn). Does anyone know what I mean? Also, I wish the material was a touch heavier so the pleats would lay flat. Maybe I can iron it that way, but I would like it to be a bit heavier.

yes that happens to me too. the wide elastic gets twisted sometimes. i think this skirt is so versatile, you can tuck a fitted top in and the wide band defines the waist and then you can rock it like margherita did with a wide belt.

the waistband on mine was twisted before I ever put it on -- it was a major PITA to undo in order to try on. I decided not to keep mine -- I really think I can find a similar skirt for a lot less $$. I don't even think it's "obviously" Missoni -- you can barely see the zig zag print along the bottom, so IMO, it's kinda over priced for what it is (I mean I love it and agree that it's very versatile, I just don't "$50 love it")
