Whew!

OH my weN and Cookie! What a visual feast! Thank you both so much for taking time to post these beauties!

@weN84 - You Iris moussie is just
@Cookiefiend- Is that an Indian Dust I see tucked in there in the 90's?

@bunnycat Thank you :ty: I think I would have less silks if I hadn't gone to the H sale. :giggle:

@hannahsophia Love to see your collection and how they're stored! We're twins on a few pieces. :ghi5:

@Gnuj @textilegirl Thank you for your kind words! :ty: I had been planning on doing this so this was quite fun!

@Cookiefiend Thank you for joining in the fun! :ghi5: I especially love the Musique de Spheres mousseline and the Dans un Jardin Anglais gavroche that you & @bunnycat have. :hbeat: Also, those jacquards are

I'm not exactly sure what would happen to me should I ever find myself at an H sale. For sure Bcat would make me check my wallet in with him and I'm pretty sure my brain would go in to melt down.

Ok- my tally as of today (there are a couple that Mr Bcat has tucked away for presents later in the year for important dates like anniversary and birthday) goes like this:

72 total.

13 Twillies (sold a few)
10 Mousseline pocket squares (downsized a little on those too)
7 Mousse PM (also down)
7 GM Mousseline/Shawls (WAAAAY up on those. I won't even try to go find the quote from the moussie thread where I said I wouldn't wear that size...I'll just eat crow now...never say never with H)
13- PM carre (surprising! I did add a couple on here and need to cull a couple too)
16 pocket squares
1 bandana
3 70's (but considering rehoming 1 of them)
2 Maxi Twillies

I'll try to do some group shots after while.

hmm
In between Flamingo Party and Fauconnerie Royal Deduit (pale blue jacquard) is Quai aux Fleurs.
I just realized I didn't even include La Cle des Champs in the pictures! I wore it yesterday and got a spot on it, so put it aside to be washed! Whoops!
Ohhhhh, that's Fauconnerie, sorry to mis-identify Cookie, but forget about that and let me drool over that Quai!!! It's a favorite design of mine, and the jacquard....swoon:heart::heart::heart:

54 cashmere GM
34 90cm silk
3 70cm silk
1 t-shirt shawl
37 twillies

um yeah that was really scary.....what may be scarier is i could probably name them all without looking:cray:

Update on my collection:

120: 140cm cashmere GMs - 2 of these are exceptional shawls
5: 90cm silks, all framed and hanging at my home or office
1: 90cm exceptional silk (not framed)
1: 70cm silk, hanging at my home

I have since moved to a new home since the previous post and hence have a new closet. All off my collections is folded and in drawers for easy access.

Wondering how others collections have changed over the years?

Beautiful all, Cookiefiend!

Thank you both for sharing! :flowers:

This was some sort of combination of satisfying, exhausting and clean up and reorganize....I think exhaustion won, because I ran out of steam before I got to the twillies....they are scattered around with several on bags right now anyway....so later...

Wow! Thanks for the update! It must be a really nice feeling to have a solidly favorite format. I chop and change too much and can't settle on one or even two....

That depends on where you live. I'm from the area with high humidity, I never hang my shawls or scarves out. Moths will fly to, lay eggs, and cause holes in the shawls. After I'm done wearing my silk, they are back to the box. Better safe than sorry. Just my two cents.
I agree with your idea of straight back in the box, should a moth strike it would limit the damage to one or two scarves. I know from personal experience just how much moths love, love, love cashmere. A new cardi was munched last winter, I'd only worn it once. My fight against moths was ramped up or a gear or two after that. I worry about seeing all these unprotected scarves, just hanging there.
