@bunnycat Thank you I think I would have less silks if I hadn't gone to the H sale.
@hannahsophia Love to see your collection and how they're stored! We're twins on a few pieces.
@Gnuj @textilegirl Thank you for your kind words! I had been planning on doing this so this was quite fun!
@Cookiefiend Thank you for joining in the fun! I especially love the Musique de Spheres mousseline and the Dans un Jardin Anglais gavroche that you & @bunnycat have. Also, those jacquards are
Ohhhhh, that's Fauconnerie, sorry to mis-identify Cookie, but forget about that and let me drool over that Quai!!! It's a favorite design of mine, and the jacquard....swoonhmm
In between Flamingo Party and Fauconnerie Royal Deduit (pale blue jacquard) is Quai aux Fleurs.
I just realized I didn't even include La Cle des Champs in the pictures! I wore it yesterday and got a spot on it, so put it aside to be washed! Whoops!

Update on my collection:
120: 140cm cashmere GMs - 2 of these are exceptional shawls
5: 90cm silks, all framed and hanging at my home or office
1: 90cm exceptional silk (not framed)
1: 70cm silk, hanging at my home
I have since moved to a new home since the previous post and hence have a new closet. All off my collections is folded and in drawers for easy access.
Wondering how others collections have changed over the years?
I agree with your idea of straight back in the box, should a moth strike it would limit the damage to one or two scarves. I know from personal experience just how much moths love, love, love cashmere. A new cardi was munched last winter, I'd only worn it once. My fight against moths was ramped up or a gear or two after that. I worry about seeing all these unprotected scarves, just hanging there. That depends on where you live. I'm from the area with high humidity, I never hang my shawls or scarves out. Moths will fly to, lay eggs, and cause holes in the shawls. After I'm done wearing my silk, they are back to the box. Better safe than sorry. Just my two cents.
Lovely - as I was expecting! This was some sort of combination of satisfying, exhausting and clean up and reorganize....I think exhaustion won, because I ran out of steam before I got to the twillies....they are scattered around with several on bags right now anyway....so later...

I'm trying to use these pics to figure out my buying habits.....(and if I do, I'll head back over to the "how you build your collection thread" since it's a nice segue)
The jacquards are my favorites, I have a weakness for them!Ohhhhh, that's Fauconnerie, sorry to mis-identify Cookie, but forget about that and let me drool over that Quai!!! It's a favorite design of mine, and the jacquard....swoon
