Autumn came, I started going to university (which was much farther from my house than the school). And when came the first frost I appreciated all the benefits (as it would be painful sound for you) the fur! Believe me. When outside the door minus 20-40 degrees Celsius or even more, you will be cold even in a fur coat! and go out in down jacket at a temperature like this - it is suicide! so this is probably a need than a whim. But! I do not understand those people who wear fur for the sake of luxury! Honestly ... for me it's savagery ... If you live in LA, why do you need the fur?... if you live in an area where no so frosts, then buying fur is just monstrous! buy synthetic fur!

I agree with you, and I understand that it must be really, really cold up there. I've never been to Russia and I have no idea how the cold is like. Maybe there are alternatives, maybe there aren't, I was just saying what I think on the matter. ;)

Shella Bella, I was not judging, I was just stating MY opinion on fur. No more than that. I respect yours and I wish you would respect mine as well.

Anyways, we're all here just to see her style, so let's get back to it, shall we?

I think to really keep going back and forth on this you really have to know where you are coming from, meaning you have to actually experience -30 to -40 celcius. Fur has been and will always be part of the culture. Check out Sable in Action thread. There is NO batter alternative to meters of snow and rigid cold temperature. I would really wish people knew what they were talking about when they try to prove the point time and time again foaming at the mouth. Seriously! This is not Miami or LA or even New York. Please do some research next time as this is not the time of the place for PETA!

Sorry about my earlier rant, but I keep getting really sick of these "save the whales", tree hugging, flower revolution people. Every couple of months we go through this. Let's keep our political, religious and cultural vews to ourselves and not go through trying to prove who is right or wrong until someone's feelings are hurt. Back to the topic.
