Does anyone have an OS patent bag? I don't usually go for patent and am wondering if it wears well or gets sticky? That patent blue MA hobo on Thredup is down to like $20 and my curiosity is getting the better of me, but I don't want to feel like I'm touching an old band aid every time I interact with it!

I have a purple patent mini nikki but it does not really seem like a patent leather to me, it's more of a glaze.. For 20, not too bad!

The purple tote that just arrived is a glazed patent type leather and not sticky. Not sure what the thredup one looks like?

Will shoe cream change the feel of leather? I'm thinking of using it on my Elisha. In natural lighting it looks a little faded but inside it's very saturated. Anyway, if it changes the feel/texture of the leather I won't bother. If you know (@Shelby33 ;) ) let me know, thank you!!!

It does change the feel of the leather. It stays on but if you don't like it, it's easily removable with baby wipes.
It's a bit harder to use on "glazed" bags than "not glazed" because of the coating on those bags.

I used it on my prada deerskin wallet and didn't notice a change in the feel...but of course there is much less leather involved with a wallet compared to a bag

Have you tried using any leather conditioners? Sometimes they can help a little.

No I haven't. Do you recommend any particular one? Thanks in advance!!

Yes I'd try Leather CPR first. I've been getting into vintage Coach over the past year and that's the most recommended for restoring leather and on those older bags. There are also heavier ones that people use on piping and extra dry areas you could try - Blackrock and Chamberlains Leather Milk Balm but I'd do a test area first because I don't know what they will do all over a bag lol
