I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience to @idlehen and me with our MII versus MIF mini bags?
my MII 20s black mini square is heavier and more plush leather / puffier quilts. The strap drop is also shorter but I don’t have my measuring tape to confirm that. As a woman with more pronounced hips, it’s a slightly less comfortable cross body.
My MIF caramel from 22s is a lot drier and has a noticeable wrinkling on the back when I open it. It’s much lighter and more comfortable as a crossbody - a happy medium between rectangle mini and my other square mini. To be honest, I didn’t even know they made minis in France!

I am in a dilemma because I managed to get my hands on the 22S Chanel Mini Rectangular Pearl Crush in Rouge and it's gorgeous but I had my heart set on black. This is my first Chanel and I had wanted to the black mini rectangular but I know how difficult it is to get and I was drawn in by the fact that Pearl Crush Minis are hard to find and it was sheer luck that I managed to find this one. Is is true that Pearl Crush Minis are limited? Are Pearl Crush Minis harder to find than regular minis? What do you guys think I should do? I also don't mind waiting for a black one.

I don’t go for patent leather but I love it for the mini. Gives it a little extra.
