Maybe you can reach out to the vancouver location! I was able to text an SA there she said she would keep an eye out. 1.5 weeks later she called me to say she’s expecting shipment before the holidays. But it actually didn’t arrive until Jan 13 and then she msged to say it arrived and shipped it to me. Im based from Alberta. But u do need purchase history though. She told me 2 came in.Hello! Sorry if this is asked a lot, but does anyone have any tips for how to score a Black Mini Flap (either Square or Rectangular... pref Rectangular)? I'm based in Toronto and have walked into the Yorkdale Chanel boutique many times with no luck. The CAs there have told me that being put on a waitlist is pointless because they only receive Black Minis once in a blue moon and are always already spoken for - I'm guessing by more important clients? I've only ever purchased an SLG so I don't have much of a profile or a CA to work with.
At this point I'm feeling super discouraged but seeing all of your pics leave me with some hope

Not sure how it works elsewhere in Canada but in Calgary, my understanding is that it’s a lottery system for the super popular bags like minis. Perhaps get in touch with a SA in Calgary, asked to be on the lottery list, and then the SA will contact you if your name was picked. They can totally ship to Toronto. Best of luck!
square has been always puffy last few seasons. Not rectangular though, they vary
I personally find the flatter quilts that are not so shiny to be more of a classier look on the black vs the really puffy shiny quilts. But they both look beautiful
I love love vintage one because they are flat and shiny. I know what you mean by it looks more classic. This is my 22c. It looks different in photos under different lighting, but I don't think it ever looks as dry/matte as the second photo in real life.
The flap will be lop-sided if you depending on how the chains are stored inside. If the chains are all pulled in from one side it will flop to that side. You can try to adjust the chains to the opposite side and see if that helps?
