I’m getting a little antsy since the SA put my name on the reservation list 2 weeks ago and told me I would be guaranteed a black mini with LGHW once the shipment comes in. She said they were expecting it 1/15 with the new collection but I have not heard back from her at all. Wondering if I should contact customer service and ask to order from a store that has it in stock or if I need to be patient lol

If she said you were guaranteed one then I would wait. I was put on a waitlist in Nov but got impatient and ended up buying it secondhand at premium pricing. Then my SA messaged me yesterday saying mine came in. I wanted to stay on good terms with her so I bought it anyway and now need to sell one of them. You can always text your SA for an update, but since it's only been 2 weeks I think it'd be better to just wait. Trying to buy it through CS is a long shot anyway (I tried for a month and every store that had it said it was reserved).
I got mine delivered today. I only owned vintage lambskin and 22P black mini lambskin wasnt buttery soft like my vintage one but im so happy I finally have her in my collection

I only recently got offered to be put on the waitlist and thought “I’ll be waiting years”For those who own a lamb black mini square or rec and black medium classic flap already, do you think it’s worth having a black mini top handle in your collection too or is it too similar? Contemplating this style from 22p or the black mini reissue- tbh I do really want a more care-free everyday mini, but just not sure if I will like the distressed leather so am considering the black top handle as a back up....I’m not keen on the other colours this season for the minis. Help!
Yes. I have a black square mini SHW for many years, today I just received my 22p black mini top handle, which looks to be a perfect evening bag for me. I like the mini top handle better than the small (old mini) coco handle. I originally wanted a burgundy mini top handle so bad. But after my order from 21a got cancelled, I was not able to find one from the boutiques and I didn't want to buy it from a reseller. If you want one, buy it now. I think the price will go up in the next available release (22A ?).
No comparison on softness to vintage sigh i wish for the current price the lambskin would be same luxury as it used to be
Hi guys, I have the option of buying this seasonal mini in black. I also have my name on the wish list for the mini flap square in GHW but was told I might have to wait till the next season in Mar/Apr. Should i go for this seasonal mini or the original black mini square.

I bet most members will advise you to wait for a Mini Square.
And that one is absolutely worth getting! If that is your dream bag: wait!But I had to make a similar decision last spring. For me it was between a classic Mini and a seasonal flap from 21S.
I started a thread about it and asked what others would do.
Most said they would go for a classic. I chose the seasonal.
I wanted a moveable shoulder strap to wear as double/single chain and still have the classic look.Long story short: I have both now….
ended buying the classic square as well from the 22C collection. And I don't regret getting it later for a higher price, since I would -most likely- not be able to find the seasonal piece from 21S NOW. Happy to have both.
My advice:
If the seasonal bag sings to you and you love it: buy it now and get the classic Mini later- it is unlikely (yet not impossible) that you will be able to buy the seasonal piece later.
The minis will always be around and come with every other season.
If you really want the Mini and you are just trying to find an alternative - wait!!!

I have seen minis everytime I went to the boutique last year. But mostly with silver hardware. When I got my 22C it was the only one they had with gold. I would have accepted silver as well, but since I had the choice I went for gold.
I have not been on a waitlist.
I don't know if the Minis are really as hard too find as people always say. I have seen lots of minis since I started buying Chanel.
EDIT: not always in black I should add! They had colors I would never dream of buying, but still: green, light pink, Black with silver, dark purple, red and so on… I saw them frequently and don't know if/how Chanel will change that with their new restriction policy (only one classic/coco handle etc..)
I guess you just have to keep looking and get lucky.
one day I contact the boutique about a bag or SLG and they said: no chance whatsoever, a day later I get a call… it can always happen…

mine is 21C. Made in France tend to be more flatter quilts. Made in Italy is shinier and puffier.
