Hi! I'm looking to get the square mini as my first Chanel bag - eek!! I've been visiting my local stores and calling around to nearby Saks/NM. I'm hearing a rumor that square minis aren't commonly available in the US (I'm based in LA!). Can anyone help confirm or deny this? Are there any pro-tips for a Chanel newbie (me!) to get my hands on a square mini? Thanks so much!

Needing advice...a few years ago I brought a vintage Chanel pink square mini...circa 2003. I've been thinking of selling it because I don't wear pink in my wardrobe. I recently saw this bag on far fetch for around $19,000 and today I checked and it's sold. That price just seems crazy to me because I brought it for $3000...I want to sell it for a fair price but can't find much about the pricing for this bag and obviously I don't have the platform to sell like farfetch does. But I'm just wondering does anyone know the average price they sell at or have any advice about selling at all that could help me and how to price? It'll be appreciated. Feeling cluelessthanks
Can anyone help please me choose which mini caviar square flap to buy from fashionphile? This is my first Chanel purchase and there are ones from 2005, 2009 and a few from 2014 and I have no idea which will be the best quality! The older ones seem to have the stitching on the front but I can’t seem to understand the other differences!

Minis will come for cruise collection in November, you can expect minis to ship to stores November 1st. Go in the boutique and ask them to sell one to you, when they say sell date is Nov 15th ask them to look if they have already received one, be persistent and try different SA's and boutiques. I got a burgundy rectangular flap mini from 21K and compared to my mini from 21B, the 21K leather is less buttery soft and does seem a bit “dry” feeling but I don’t mind. On the plus side the 21K quilts are puffier. I got another 21K mini in black arriving next week so I’m going to compare further.
It used to be uncommon, but there are a lot more nowadays! Sometimes certain boutiques will get little to no stock of certain pieces so it could be why they say its not as common, but I have seen a good amount of them the past few seasons.
Hi chanel newbie here does anyone know how often does chanel release the mini square or rectangular flap please? or should I just get it preloved. looking for my first chanel so thought I would go brand new as prices in the preloved are so high. Im located in Australia. Thanks in advance for any info.

....don't think I am much help, but I was able to score both in the last 2 weeks. I never saw these bag in person, but had seen many reviews online. I went to the Chanel inside NM 2-3 weeks ago.... they pretty much laughed at me in a nice way, but I was also able to find one rec. mini in black ghw the week after inside Saks. another week later called NM and there was one square mini to purchase. Before that had only purchased zipped coin purse. Don't give up. Keep trying. Things are coming in every week at the local boutiques, so keep calling and ask them to send pictures this way you will find a SA that will help you score one.
I didn't managed to see any from the future collection threads, unless there is and I missed it. Hoping for caviar minis too!
